Children's holiday      09.21.2023

Fun New Year's entertainment for the company. Competitions for the New Year - fun and cool for a large company

What I have collected today is suitable for a situation where several families with children gather in one apartment to celebrate the New Year. Some part of the evening should definitely be dedicated to little guests, agree.

It will be even more fun if adults participate! A real family holiday!

What we have?

All children are different ages, but with the same desire to have fun. There will be no invited Santa Claus (or this is a 5-minute formality), and you have failed to raise your own in the team.

There is no room in the apartment for very active games; you did not have time to create complex props for games.

Well? Fits? Read on!

I will give New Year's competitions for children in thematic blocks. Choose the appropriate options, create a program taking into account the alternation of outdoor and table competitions.

From these scenarios and selections you can add competitions to your program:

And further!

Ready

Look at interesting ideas in other scenarios: (this is my favorite selection),
Add several competitions for kids to the script and you’ll get a full-fledged program!

LET'S CONTINUE!!

Lotteries and fortune telling

From experience, both children and adults always like it. Apparently, everyone is interested in looking into the future and testing their luck.

Choice of Father Frost and Snow Maiden

We put notes in the capsules from the kinders (you can just use paper parcels in a bag). All participants of the feast are pulling! On one note there is “Father Frost”, on the other there is “Snow Maiden”. All the rest may be empty, but it is better to give out New Year’s roles to all guests: snowflakes (there can be 20 of them), Grandma Winter, Snow Queen, Snowman, and so on. If Santa Claus is 2 years old and Snow Maiden is 55, you have succeeded :-)!

Now we announce the first New Year's dance for the lucky ones! Don’t forget to put on the necessary attributes and take a photo of them near the Christmas tree.

Success Prediction

Everyone is pleased to know that only success awaits in the future. Therefore, we put the names of everyone present, written on pieces of paper, into a hat and voice questions like these:

— Who will study best in the new year? (pull out the piece of paper...)

- Kate! (well, or Grandma Tanya...)

  • Who will make the great discovery?
  • Who will find the treasure?
  • Who will win the lottery?
  • Who will receive the most gifts?
  • Who will have the most good news in the new year?
  • Who will travel a lot?
  • Who's in for the biggest surprise in 2015?
  • Who will be the most successful at work (at school)?
  • Who will be the most athletic in the new year?
  • Who will be the healthiest?
  • Who will become famous?
  • Who will have the biggest dream come true?

What's in the black box...

Now we will all be psychics. Place a box (perhaps a shoe box) on a chair in the center of the room and ask them to guess what is in there. Allow guests to approach the box and make movements with their hands, copying the magicians.

We begin to accept one answer option from each person present. Children naturally assume the presence of toys, adults - anything.

You can put a really valuable thing in the box that is suitable for any gender and age (a cup with the symbol of the year, for example), or you can put a cracker. Let everyone receive confetti for their efforts :-). By the way, now there are firecrackers from which $100 bills fly out.

New Year's word...

Prepare a bunch of small prizes (sweets, chocolate medals, chewing gum, calendars).

Can be done at the table: Look under your plates! Each of you has one letter!” (write the letters in advance on cards)

So here it is. Now we ask you to name “New Year’s” words for each of these letters. For every word - a PRIZE!

But we give something more substantial to the one who puts the letters together into the word “Snow Maiden”.

  • WITH- snow, icicles, snowflakes, snowballs, candles
  • N- new year, outfit
  • E- spruce
  • G- guests, garland
  • U- luck, food, decoration,
  • R- practical jokes,
  • ABOUT- Olivie
  • H- watch
  • TO— confetti, calendar, clown, karaoke, costume
  • A- applause, aroma, angel, actor

You can name the dishes that are on the New Year's table, the fairy-tale characters in which the guests are dressed up, drinks, games, natural phenomena, and so on.

Who is faster?

Chiming clock

Divide children and adults into 2 teams. We give everyone decorations for the Christmas tree and clothespins. Toys, snowflakes and garlands need to be hung on... one of the team members. Let him spread his fingers and shine like a Christmas tree!

Yes! You can also hold a garland in your teeth.

Turn on the recording of the chimes (available on YouTube)! Whoever comes up with the funniest Christmas tree in 1 minute while the recording is going on wins!

Take a gift

Two participants. Two boxes (possibly from shoes) with prizes, wrapped in beautiful paper. Tie a ribbon (2 - 2.5 m) to each box, the other end to a pencil.

We put the participants on one line and give them pencils. 1-2-3! We begin to wind the tape around the pencil. The one who does it faster takes the prize.

You can joke too. Let a child and an adult compete. We put something very light in the “children’s” box, and in the “adult” box - dumbbell... Let him reel in! 🙂

Let's make a snowman... together!

You need softened plasticine. Two participants sit next to each other at the table, and you can hug. The left hand of one participant and the right hand of the other must act as if they were the hands of the same person.

How difficult it is... Try to pinch off a piece of plasticine, roll three balls between your palms (remember, two people are involved), then stick on a carrot and eyes.

Let each pair have adults and children, it’s more fun.

Snatch it up

It’s somewhat similar to a game with chairs, when some of the gape people have nowhere to sit. Just no chairs are needed - just a small table or stool with a tray on which there are carnival accessories - noses, glasses, wigs, caps. The one who doesn't get the decoration at the end of the music is eliminated. Naturally, the accessory must not only be grabbed, but also put on. For the second round, we put everything on the stool again and continue until 1 winner is identified.

Balloon contests

I will not repeat myself, as I have already written an article. In general, you can take them as a basis and hold all children's New Year's competitions only with balls.

Throwers, knockers, hits :)

There is no need for intelligence here, and it is quite possible to entertain guests from 3 to 103.

From experience, such competitions sometimes turn out to be very exciting. It’s hard to guess what exactly your guests will like, I’ll just list the options, and you decide on the available props and set aside a place for the game.

  • if there is any version of darts (magnetic, balls with Velcro), feel free to award a prize to the most accurate, there will definitely be interest in the competition
  • Skittles or plastic bottles filled with beans, peas or water are fun to knock down with a rubber ball at any age. Prize for winning New Year's bowling!
  • throwing “snowballs” from a newspaper into a basket (what if someone gets a 10 out of 10 result?). Distance - 2 meters!

Blindfold your eyes!

A standard set of comic competitions, but they are always a success on New Year’s Day.

Here are 3 options:

  • cut the prize from the ribbon (it’s more fun if you don’t tie the string to the cabinets, but give it to two guests - let them change the height after the player has stopped seeing the target. A blindfolded person will have to work harder, and it will make the observers laugh!)
  • sticking a plasticine nose to a drawn snowman is also not so easy (blindfold, spin, let the participant go to the poster with the drawing)
  • build a pyramid from plastic cups. Before blindfolding, we show the “drawing” of the tower - 4 inverted cups at the base, then three, two, one on top. The fastest and neatest builder wins

Comic concert!

We collect all music, circus and dance competitions here.

Noise orchestra

Great entertainment for a mixed group of adults and children from 2 to 12 years old. .

Poetic horoscope!

We remember what Symbols of the year are in the horoscope, let the guests name theirs. If there are 2 dogs or 3 snakes, joint execution is allowed.

Exercise: read Mikhalkov's poem

They say on New Year's Eve
Whatever you want -
Everything will always happen
Everything always comes true

How… rat, pig, dragon, snake, cat, dog, bull, tiger, horse, sheep, monkey, rooster!

Neon show

To be honest, it was unexpectedly impressive even for me, although I came up with this idea and implemented it. For seven children who celebrated the New Year with adults, I bought neon glowing accessories. Previously it was only bracelets, now there are glasses, beads, head decorations, ears and sticks. By the way, I bought earrings for myself.

So... I gathered the children in a separate room and dressed everyone, from toddlers to teenagers, in these decorations (bracelets for arms and legs are possible):

Then I turned on “Jingle Bells” in a rock version, turned off the lights in the room and launched all the glowing children. It was really cool as the kids started jumping and spinning around, the neon decorations seemed to fill the entire space. I'll tell you, the light show was no worse than those for which they pay a lot of money at corporate events :-). All these accessories are sold in almost all holiday tinsel stores.

Dance "Locomotive" + family disco

This is a reason to distract all guests from eating salads. We invite adults and children, line them up by height and ask them to put their hands on the waist of the previous dancer. This picture touches me. A long, long teenager may be standing in front, all the grandparents behind him, and the “last trailer” is a two-year-old baby. The video turns out great, don't forget to film it.

I must say, the train falls apart quite quickly, but this is also good for us, since the guests are already ready to dance a little. It’s boring to stomp along to one long song at a family party, so we turn on the following cuts from hits one by one (copy the link): http://muzofon.com/search/music%20for%20competitions.

New Year's karaoke (battle of the choirs)

As a rule, karaoke sites have a selection of winter songs. If not, put them in your “favorites” folder in advance so you don’t have to look for these songs on New Year’s Eve:

  • “A Christmas tree was born in the forest, it grew in the forest...”
  • “The ceiling is icy, the door is creaky”
  • "Three White Horses"
  • “The little Christmas tree is cold in winter”
  • "Blue frost"
  • "Snow is falling"
  • "Five minutes":
  • "Song about bears"

Online karaoke sites have sections for New Year's songs; you don't need to search for each one separately.

Not everyone likes to sing solo, so you'll have four nominations: children's choir, women's choir, men's, mixed.

Dancing with obstacles

All guests stand on the right side of the room. We need plastic cups again. We build a low fence (2 floors) from them, which guests can easily overcome, dancing, moving to the left side of the room.

We are adding another “floor”. Everyone moves over the wall again, doing dance moves. We build this way until the participants need to jump. The most dexterous one wins a prize!

If there are no machines, we pull the rope (held by two people) at a height of 20, 30, 40, 50 cm from the floor, and so on.

Photo proofs

You will laugh twice. During the process itself and after some time, when you receive the finished pictures.

We use New Year's accessories and don't skimp on facial expressions and gestures!

For each guest you come up with a casting with photo tests for the role:

  • the kindest Santa Claus
  • the greediest Santa Claus
  • the most beautiful Snow Maiden
  • the sleepiest Snow Maiden
  • the most overfed guest
  • the most cheerful guest
  • the most cunning Baba Yaga
  • the most evil Kashchei
  • the most powerful hero
  • the most capricious princess
  • the biggest snowflake
  • and so on…

Little things from Santa Claus

In Europe, this entertainment is called “Secret Santa,” but we are patriots, we have our own wonderful grandfather. I came up with this legend... Santa Claus was walking through the forest with gifts, got caught on a branch, and slightly tore the bag. The big gifts remained in the bag, but the small ones fell out. We have selected them and will now give them to all guests!

We buy small and pleasant little things in advance and wrap them in opaque wrapping paper. Personally, to speed up the process, I simply put the souvenir in a square piece of paper, shape it into a bag and tie it with a ribbon. I've been purchasing all December - 2-3 items with each shopping cart in the store. By the end of the month I have a whole bag of kinders, liquid soap in the form of animal figures, candles, frames, calendars, chocolate bunnies, key chains and lanterns.

You ask “Who is this gift for?” You can pull pieces of paper from a hat, but my son likes to nominate the lucky winner himself: “Uncle Zhenya!” We give the gift, wait until he shows everyone the lost change from Santa Claus, then the next question “Who is this gift for?” Every time I am surprised with what trepidation guests wait for these gifts... Even adults :-).

Let's laugh and think

If you have a lot of adults at your party, buy ready-made collections with tasks on cards.

I honestly admit that I accidentally opened these wonderful cards with tasks at a ridiculous price. We were entertained by a real presenter, but I remembered the box with tasks... We laughed until we hiccupped, some words from related languages sound too funny to the Russian ear. Actually, they had to be guessed (options were proposed).

"Naughty guy"— 120 double-sided cards. Well, for example, who is “t-shirt” translated from Bulgarian? Mom, cousin or grandmother? Or what should you imagine if the word in Czech sounds like “hammer”? And there are all sorts of stinks, battles and darkness (these are all decent words in translation).

What else happens?

  • "Nonsense"- a collection of rare words of the Russian language (so rare that even from the proposed options it is difficult to choose the right one to clarify the meaning)
  • "Whymeter"— 120 questions with answers, such as “Why is there a camel on the flag of the Chelyabinsk region?”
  • "Cytatomer"— 120 cards on which you will be asked to complete a quote from a great person
  • "Personometer"— 120 cards with names. You just need to remember and choose the correct answer: Rabindranath Tagore is WHO?

Sets are available in bookstores in the “Entertainment” section.

Everyone's favorite New Year holiday is just around the corner. One of the important components of a fun and exciting holiday is active games and original competitions that do not allow anyone to remain on the sidelines and unite all participants in the New Year celebration. Competitions can be completely different - games, for ingenuity, for ingenuity, for sleight of hand with the use of light fraud, for the especially uninhibited there are erotic competitions. To make the New Year's Eve memorable for a long time, and in the photographs you remember the enthusiasm of that evening and the smiles of your friends, spend them.

Competition "Pass the Parcel""
Necessary: prepare the package - take candy or a small toy and wrap it in many pieces of paper or newspaper
Everyone sits around the table and the presenter says: “We received the package, but I don’t know who it’s for. Let’s find out!”
Guests begin to pass the parcel to each other in a circle, unfolding one piece of paper at a time.
Whoever unwraps it last gets the package.

"Stick Your Nose" Competition
Necessary: draw a funny face (without a nose) on a large piece of paper, and separately sculpt a nose from plasticine.
Attach the sheet to the wall. The players take a few steps back. One by one, they blindfold themselves, approach the portrait and try to stick the nose in place. The one who sticks the nose more accurately wins.

New Year's competition "Real Santa Claus"
You will need: many small unbreakable items: soft toys, books, boxes, etc.
All items are placed near the leader, the rest of the players portray Santa Clauses, among whom we have to choose the real one. The presenter takes turns handing out one item to the “grandfathers”. A player who fails to hold onto and drops any gift leaves the game. The one who turns out to be the most dexterous and does not drop anything is declared the “real Santa Claus” and receives a prize.

New Year's game "Discoverers"
Necessary: a lot of balloons and markers
Each player receives a balloon and a marker. The host invites the players to “discover” a new planet. To do this, in a certain time (for example, 3 minutes), you need to inflate your balloon and draw as many “residents” on it as possible. Whoever had more residents after time was the winner.

Ice cream competition
Snow Maiden's favorite treat is ice cream - so a competition is being announced to name the ice cream. Everyone takes turns naming the types of ice cream, and whoever thinks for more than five seconds loses.

New Year's competition "It was my ball!!!"
Necessary: 2 balloons
The competition requires 2 participants. They are given one inflatable New Year's ball, which the presenter ties to the left leg of each participant. At the command of the leader, the participants try to crush the opponent’s ball with their right foot. It is recommended to play in house shoes or sneakers (participants in tarpaulin boots or stiletto heels are not allowed to participate in the competition).
Winner: the one who “bursts” the opponent’s balloon with his foot faster.

New Year competition "New Year tree"
To play you need: stool or chair - 1 piece, girl - 1 piece, clothespins - a lot.
Clothespins are attached to the girl's dress, the girl is placed on a stool, 2 young men are selected from among the company (you can even divide into 2 teams), who remove the clothespins from her blindfolded.
The one who removes the last clothespin, or the one who has the most clothespins, takes the girl off the chair and kisses her as many times as there are clothespins. The game can be played in reverse, i.e. a guy stands on a stool.

Competition "New Year's Song"
Necessary: hat and leaves with words
In the hat there are small pieces of paper on which one word is written (Christmas tree, icicle, Santa Claus, frost, etc.) Each guest takes turns taking notes out of the hat and sings a song - necessarily a New Year's or winter song, in which the word written appears on his leaf!

Competition "The most attentive"
This New Year's competition is held at the table. 2-3 people play. The presenter reads the text:

I'll tell you a story in about a dozen phrases. As soon as I say the number 3, take the prize immediately:

“Once we caught a pike, gutted it, and inside we saw small fish, not just one, but seven.”
“When you want to memorize poems, don’t cram them until late at night. Take them and repeat them once at night - twice, or better yet, 10.”
“A seasoned guy dreams of becoming an Olympic champion. Look, don’t be tricky at the start, but wait for the command: one, two, march!
“Once I had to wait 3 hours for a train at the station...”

If they don’t have time to take the prize, the presenter takes it: “Well, friends, didn’t you take the prize when you had the opportunity to take it?”

New Year's competition "Vocabulary spruce"
Name one by one the words in which the word SPRUCE “grows.”
The main condition: the words must be nouns in the nominative case. The participant who cannot name the word is eliminated from the game.
Examples of “dictionary trees”: Caramel, pipe, blizzard, potato, housewarming, Monday, etc.

Competition "New Year's Scrabble"
Guests at the table are divided into 2 teams. They are asked to take turns naming the names of feature films in which the main action takes place in winter or on New Year's Eve. Everyone is called in turn.
Winner: the one who said the name of the film last.

Merry New Year's tradition "Wishes"
Each of the guests is given three pieces of paper and in three versions he completes the phrase - “next year I will definitely...”.
The pieces of paper are put into a hat, mixed and the hat is passed around in a circle. Each guest takes a piece of paper out of a hat and reads the text out loud.
For example, a young man’s statement that I will definitely give birth to a child next year, etc. brings great joy to others...
The success of the fun depends on the imagination of the participants.

New Year's games "Alphabet"
The presenter says that he has a small gift for everyone, but he gives gifts to educated people.
The presenter suggests playing the alphabet game. The first letter of the alphabet is A, and the first player must come up with a New Year's greeting phrase starting with the letter A, for example, he says: “An astronomical salary for you.” Then the next player says starting with the letter B: “Be happy” and so on for each letter of the alphabet, each player who comes up with the phrase is given a gift.
But the funniest thing comes when the alphabet reaches the letters, Ж, П, ы, ь, Ъ.

New Year's game "Cutting out snowflakes""
Necessary: regular white paper napkins and scissors.
The host distributes a napkin and scissors to the guests.
The task of each player is to cut out a snowflake from a napkin the fastest and most beautifully.

New Year's game "Napkin Tug"
Necessary: a napkin and several cocktail straws.
The napkin breaks into several pieces. On each piece we write the name of the prize. Between the opponents, place a piece of napkin on the table with the wording facing down.
At the command "Start!" Opponents must use a cocktail straw to pull the napkin towards them.
The second version of the game is to write a comic task on a napkin. In this case, the loser must complete this task.

Costume competition
You need to buy masks, noses, glasses, jewelry at the wholesale market in advance, pick up old dresses, skirts, scarves, etc.
Guests draw lots to decide who should prepare which costume. There may be tasks such as Snow Maiden, clown, Indian.

Competition "Frosty Breath"
There are three snowflakes on the table. Participants blow on them to make them fall off the table. When all the snowflakes fall, announce that the one whose snowflake fell last won (so he froze it to the table).

Cooking competition
Participants in the competition are given plates and given the task of making an original salad from the treats available on the table.
And then, blindfolded, you have to feed your dish to another participant.
Winner: the one who fed the other most carefully.

Competition "Who has it?"
Chairs are arranged in a circle in the room. The players, men and women, sit on them. Father Frost or Snow Maiden starts the game (the second option is preferable). She is blindfolded. The music turns on, and the Snow Maiden walks in a circle. As soon as the music stops, she stops and sits on the lap of the person she stopped next to. The one with whom the Snow Maiden sat must hold his breath and not give himself away. The rest ask: “Who?” If the Snow Maiden guesses who she is sitting on her lap, then the “unmasked” one becomes the driver. It is prohibited to touch participants’ hands when guessing.

Competition "Best Snow Maiden"
Each of the Santa Clauses must dress the Snow Maiden chosen by him in such a way as, in his opinion, a modern Snow Maiden should look like. You can use everything that the Snow Maiden is already wearing, plus any additional items, clothes, Christmas tree decorations, cosmetics, jewelry, etc.
The winner is the Santa Claus who creates the most vivid and unusual image of the Snow Maiden.

New Year's competition "Best Artist"
Several couples take part in the competition, which are teams.
The goal of the competition: to draw a New Year's landscape in a short period of time.
One player is blindfolded and given a canvas and brushes - in fact, he will paint the landscape.
The other player’s task is to direct the drawing process (say “right”, “left”, etc.).
It turns out very funny. The team that is supported by the audience wins.

Competition "Resourceful Snow Maiden"
Each girl is blindfolded, and young people hide Christmas tree decorations in their clothes. The girl must find a Christmas tree decoration from her clothed companion as quickly as possible.
The most “resourceful” one wins, i.e. the Snow Maiden who finds the most Christmas tree decorations.
Everyone receives Christmas tree decorations as a souvenir of the evening, and the “resourceful” girl receives a separate prize.

Competition "Christmas tree toy"
Necessary: colored cardboard, scissors, clothespin, blindfold.
Young people are invited to cut out a Christmas tree toy from colored cardboard. Afterwards, the young man is blindfolded and asked to attach the toy to the Christmas tree.
It is necessary to encourage young people so that they do not orient themselves in space and do not guess in which direction the tree is located. Afterwards, the young people walk towards the Christmas tree, the hall freezes, because most people move anywhere, but not towards the Christmas tree. However, you are not allowed to wander around the hall - according to the rules, you must hang the toy on the first object you bump into. It could be the boss's ear or the leg of a chair.
Won the one who came closest to the tree/or the one whose “tree” was the most original.
The originality of the “Christmas tree” is determined by the volume of applause.

Winter is coming, which means it's time to think about how to properly prepare for the New Year. And it is important, in addition to the menu and outfits, to think through competitions for the New Year and entertainment, because they are the ones who will enliven the company, not let you get bored, and fill the holiday with joy and laughter.

Every home will soon begin to bustle, someone will rush to choose gifts for their loved ones, someone will go after the forest beauty to then decorate it with all kinds of ribbons, balls, bows, crackers and garlands, and someone will create the menu for the New Year's table. You also need to buy it in advance for family and friends.

All this is important, because the holidays do not include:

  • without a cheerful feast, where there are so many delicious dishes on the table that it is simply impossible not to try something;
  • without beautiful outfits, where everyone wants to emphasize the sophistication of their personal dress or suit;
  • without champagne, sparklers, heaps of gifts.

But what else is needed to ensure that the atmosphere is cheerful, cheerful, so that all guests and family members are in high spirits? It's simple - these are competitions, entertainment, jokes, jokes, riddles, songs and other attributes of a good mood.
We will tell the reader how you can create a holiday at home, how to organize relay races, games, quizzes and other entertainment that both adults and children will certainly enjoy.

Check it out with step by step photos.

Games, various competitions on New Year's Eve for seniors

1. Games with family

Both children and adults of different ages and generations can participate in the proposed games.

Competition "Forest fairy or Christmas tree"

When everyone had already eaten on New Year's Day, they relaxed. Having had a drink, it’s time to start games and entertainment so that the guests don’t get bored. We call two people who want to participate in the game. Everyone stands on a stool and tries to imitate a Christmas tree. Two more volunteers begin to decorate the tree, not with toys, but with whatever catches their eye first. The one who dresses up the most beautifully and originally wins. By the way, it is allowed to take attributes from guests, it can be anything - ties, clips, watches, hairpins, cufflinks, scarves, scarves, etc.

Offer your friends the entertaining game “New Year's Drawing”

All ages can participate here. Two heroes, whose hands were previously tied, standing with their backs to a stand with a sheet of paper, are asked to draw the symbol of the next year - the Dog. You can use pencils and markers. Participants have the right to suggest - to the left, to the right, etc.

Game for big and small “Funny Caterpillar”

A funny and mischievous game for the New Year's feast. All participants line up like a train, that is, everyone grabs the waist of the person in front. The main presenter begins to tell that his caterpillar is trained and follows any commands.

If she needs to dance, she dances beautifully, if she needs to sing, she sings, and if the caterpillar wants to sleep, then she falls to the side, curls up her paws and snores. And so, the host begins to play disco music, to which everyone begins, without letting go of their neighbor’s waist, to dance, then you can sing karaoke or even while watching TV, and then sleep. The game is funny to tears, where everyone shows themselves in all their talents. Noise and din are guaranteed.

2. Competitions for adults at the holiday table

When the guests get tired of running and jumping and sit down to rest, we invite them to play without getting up.

Competition "Piggy Bank"

We choose a leader. He finds a jar, or any empty container. He passes it around in a circle, where everyone puts a coin or large sum of money. Afterwards, the presenter secretly calculates how much money is in the jar and offers to guess how much money is in the piggy bank. The one who guesses correctly gets the contents at his disposal.

By the way, on a fabulous evening you can tell fortunes. Therefore, the following entertainment is for adults:

Fortune Telling Game

To do this, we will prepare a lot of airy, multi-colored balloons in advance and put various humorous prophecies in them. For example, “Your constellation is under the influence of Queen Cleopatra, so all the years you will be charmingly beautiful” or “The President of New Guinea will come to visit you” and so on.

Each participant chooses a balloon, bursts it and reads his humorous note to those present. Everyone has fun, we celebrate New Year 2018 with games and entertainment, it will be remembered by everyone.

Game "Funny Adjectives"

Here the presenter tells all participants the adjectives they have prepared in advance, or writes them down on a piece of paper so that everyone can see. And after the words, in the sequence in which those sitting at the table call them, he places them in a specially prepared text. Words are added in the order in which they were pronounced. Here's a sample.

Adjectives - wonderful, ardent, unnecessary, stingy, drunk, wet, tasty, loud, banana, heroic, slippery, harmful.

Text:“Good night, most (wonderful) friends. On this (ardent) day, my (unnecessary) granddaughter Snegurka and I send you (stingy) greetings and congratulations on the Year of the Rooster. The year that remains behind us was (drunk) and (wet), but the next one will certainly turn out to be (tasty) and (loud). I would like to wish everyone (banana) health and (heroic) happiness, I will give (slippery) gifts when we meet. Always your (harmful) Grandfather Frost.” Something like this. The game will be a success for a slightly tipsy group, believe me!

The game will be called "Racer"

Great fun for the New Year. So, we borrow toy cars from the kids. On each of them we place a glass filled to the top with sparkling sparkling wine. The cars must be pulled carefully by the string, trying not to spill a drop. Whoever gets the machine first, and whoever drains the glass to the bottom first, is the winner.

The holiday is in full swing and you can try to move on to bold games for the most uninhibited participants.

3. Movement competitions for adults

We've eaten and drunk, it's time to get moving. Let's light up and play.

Competition "Clockwork Cockerel"

We call two participants to the Christmas tree. We tie their hands behind their backs, and put some fruit on the dish, say a tangerine or an apple, a banana. The task is to peel the fruit and eat it without touching it with your hands. Whoever did it faster won. The winner is given a souvenir as a keepsake.

Competition "Clothespins"

Two wonderful participants are needed here. We blindfold the young ladies and, to the music, we force them to remove from Santa Claus all the clothespins that were previously put on him. In chorus we count the removed clothespins; whoever has the most wins. Clothespins can be attached to the most unexpected places. But keep in mind, this is not a game for the shy.

Game "Hat"

Everyone can participate. What is the essence of the game: pass the hat to each other, without hands, and the one who drops it tries to put it on his neighbor’s head, also without using his hands.

Game "Sobriety Test"

We continue the list of New Year's competitions and entertainment and a funny game is next. Two participants must lift the matchbox with matches held in their hands. Or another test. We hand everyone a piece of paper with a tongue twister written on it. The one who pronounces the verse faster and more clearly wins. An incentive souvenir is required.

Check out more that will amuse your friends and little guests.

Games and competitions for young children and schoolchildren

Children come in different ages, so we have specially prepared entertainment for both toddlers and older children of school age, so that everything is exciting and interesting on this magical New Year's Eve. By the way, you can dress up children in costumes of fairy-tale characters and hold a competition for the best costume or a “Guessing” competition. If there are many children, let each participant guess the costume of the previous one. Distribute sweets and fruits to everyone.

Competitions and games for the little ones

    • 1. Competition "Snow Queen".
We prepare for it in advance, prepare a small drawing of a snow castle and a lot of plastic cups. We show the kids the drawing, let them remember it well, then we hide it. The task itself: use plastic cups to create a castle for the Snow Queen, like the one shown in the picture. The fastest and most accurate child wins a prize.
    • 2. Game "Forest Beauty and Santa Claus"
The children make a circle, holding hands and tell what kind of Christmas trees there are. Afterwards, everyone depicts what they said.
    • 3. Let's play New Year's theater
If the children came in carnival costumes, then let everyone play the role of the one in whose guise they came. If he can’t, ask him to sing a song or recite a poem. A gift is required for every child.
    • 4. Guessing game. The leader of the children begins to pronounce synonyms denoting a fairy-tale hero or the first words of his name, for example, Snezhnaya ..., Ugly ..., Red Santa Claus ..., Princess ..., Koschey ..., Ivan ..., Nightingale ..., A man in the prime of life ... and so on, and the kids continue. It will be even more interesting if children can portray these heroes.

New Year competitions for schoolchildren

Older children love to have fun, and they also like to receive gifts and delicious candies. Play these fun games with them and reward each with a memorable prize.

  • 1. Game "Felt boots". We put large felt boots under the tree. The winner will be the one who runs around the coniferous tree faster and fits into his felt boots.
  • 2. Game “With signs”. When a child or adult enters the house, we will attach a paper to his back with the inscription - giraffe, hippo, proud eagle, bulldozer, cucumber, tomato, rolling pin, bread slicer, washcloth, candy, Velcro, etc. Each guest walks around and sees what is written on the other’s back, but does not see what is written on his. What is the task, to find out, without asking a direct question, what is written on the back, only “yes” and “no”.
  • 3. Game “harvesting”. We put clean fruits, sweets and other goodies in a vase. We give a start, the children run and grab sweets from the bowl with their mouths, whoever gets the most is the winner.
  • 4. Competition "New Year's song". Children remember New Year's songs from cartoons and films; whoever remembers the most wins.

— don’t miss the opportunity to make something unusual and original with your own hands, please your loved ones!

New Year's competitions for adults and children at the table

Competition "Whose ball is bigger"

This competition will be interesting for both adults and children. Guests need to be given a balloon and as soon as the signal is given, everyone should start inflating it. Whoever's forward bursts, that player leaves the game. The one who ends up with the most ball wins.

Ditties

This competition will also appeal to the older generation. For an organized competition, you need a presenter who will throw a wand in a circle. This needs to be done to the music, and whoever it ends on performs the ditty. Whoever performs the most interesting and funny ditty will receive a prize.

I love - I don’t love

This entertainment will bring you laughter and joy. All participants must say what they like and dislike about their neighbor at the table. For example: I love my neighbor’s cheeks on the left, but I don’t like his hands. And this participant must kiss what he loves and bite what he does not like.

Wishing Ball

We write wishes and tasks on pieces of paper in advance. During the feast, everyone chooses a ball for themselves, and must burst it without using their hands. What the participant gets is what he must do. Fun depends on imagination.

A cheerful and joyful mood depends on cheerful, cheerful people. Fortune telling will also be fun on New Year's Eve.

Let's tell fortunes on paper

We take strips of paper, write down questions that interest us, our desires. Place everything in a wide bowl and pour in water. That piece of paper that will float to the top and will be a positive answer or the fulfillment of a wish.

Invent, play, have fun - and your holiday will remain in memory for a long time, and the New Year 2020 will bring you good luck!

In this material we present New Year's fun with which you can entertain your guests. To ensure that those gathered are enthusiastic about participating in games and competitions, first let them get used to it a little: socialize, sit at the festive table, have a drink. And only then invite everyone to participate in the evening’s entertainment program.

“This item is needed to...”

The presenter names any item to the participants (for example, a blanket, a pen, etc.), and they must take turns saying how to use the hidden item, starting the phrase with the words: “This item is needed to...” The game becomes interesting when when all the obvious functions of a thing run out and you have to come up with them on the fly. The one who couldn't come up with a use for the thing lost.

Over bumps

This game is suitable for the moment when the feast is already coming to an end and the guests want to exercise a little. Two or three participants are given two sheets of paper. These are “bumps”, and the floor in the room is a “quagmire”. You can cross it only by stepping on each leaf in turn and moving the other one forward. Players must get to the other side as quickly as possible over the “bumps” without stepping on the floor.

Fanta

An old and familiar game that you can change a little. Participants can take out forfeits from the “hat” with funny tasks: portray an animal - a symbol of the coming year, sing a New Year’s song, loudly call the Snow Maiden, etc. This, so to speak, is a traditional approach to this game.

But you can slightly modify the meaning of “Forfeits”. Write down different states of a person on pieces of paper, but try to choose only original and funny ones. For example, “puppy delight”, “stormy sausage”, “languid thoughtfulness”, etc. The player who drew the forfeit must depict what is written without words, and the rest of the participants must guess what he is showing.

Color kaleidoscope

This game is active and can be played by at least 5 people. Children love this type of entertainment. After the leader names the colors (for example, yellow, then red, etc.), the players must grab some object of the named color. The presenter counts to three at this time. Those who do not have time are eliminated. The pace of the game can be increased, and its difficulty increases.

Blind artist

The players are divided into pairs in random order, one of the two partners is blindfolded and given a pen, pencil or felt-tip pen. “Blind artists” should hold their drawing device at arm’s length. The second participants are given sheets of paper and the theme of the future creation is told. It can be from the simplest (draw a geometric figure) to quite complex (create a New Year's landscape). Then the “sighted” partners return to their pairs and begin to draw, moving the sheet around the writing object held in the hand of the second participant. At the same time, the “blind artists” themselves should not move their hand. After the end of the competition, their eyes are untied, and the winners are determined by the best and most accurately depicting reality.

Football players

The host announces to the guests that a competition will be held for the best football player, and everyone can take part in it. Then the players are given balloons. The task is to prevent the “ball” from falling to the floor for a certain time (for example, 3 minutes). Someone will “chase” the ball with their head, and the smartest ones will simply blow on it from below, thus supporting it in the air. If it is not possible to identify a clear winner, then the game can be complicated: distribute one more “ball” to the “football players”. The one who doesn't have any of the balls fall to the floor wins.

Oh, these fairy tales! Oh, these storytellers!

This competition develops oratory skills and creative abilities of participants. On the cards you need to write the names of different fairy tales (for example, you can take “Kolobok”, “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Sleeping Beauty”, etc.). Each player takes out one piece of paper and remembers the plot of the fairy tale he received. Participants must then share what they remember with the audience, but must stick to a specific genre (which can also be written on the card). For example, “Little Red Riding Hood” will sound differently in the detective genre, “Sleeping Beauty” or “Snow White” - in the melodrama genre. The most inventive storyteller wins.

Fair-sale of men

To conduct this competition, you will need at least three men, for each of them “sellers” are selected: one or more women. As props, you need to provide participants with bright scarves, pieces of fabric, various jewelry, and cosmetics. The first task of the girls is to dress up their “product” as best and as original as possible. You can create some recognizable image: for example, Casanova. This task will take no more than 3 to 5 minutes to complete. The "sellers" must then advertise the "product" to potential buyers, and they may even hold an impromptu auction. The team that completed the task best receives a prize.

Those who are too touchy and impressionable are better off not participating in this game - it’s a shame when they don’t share with you! Participants stand in a close circle facing each other, with their hands behind their backs. The driver becomes the center. The players begin to quietly pass the apple from hand to hand (if you have other culinary preferences, it is possible to replace the apple with a banana, cucumber, or a piece of sausage, in the end). The person who finds himself in the center of the circle must guess who has the fruit at the moment. The difficulty is that you also need to bite off a piece of the apple - naturally, when the driver is not looking. If the lucky owner of the fruit is “caught red-handed,” then it is his turn to stand in the center of the circle. And this continues until the entire main object of the game is eaten.

"Show the elephant"

A very funny, but quite tough prank. The presenter starts a well-known game: you need to think of an animal, depict it without words, and all those gathered must understand who the participant is portraying. The presenter takes the unsuspecting victim out the door and explains that he will need to show an elephant (or any other animal that is easy enough to depict). In this case, you need to have time to inform the others that the player will portray such and such an animal, and their task is in no case to name, “not to guess”, offering any other versions. Then, for some time, you can enjoy the look of the surprised participant, who cannot understand in any way whether he himself is portraying an elephant poorly, or whether no one has ever seen this animal. The main thing is not to torture the victim for too long.

Two halves

The players are divided into pairs. The presenter announces what seems to be the simplest task: cut a snowflake out of paper. Participants are given scissors and paper. If you are afraid that guests will cut themselves with scissors, then hand out packages, wrapping paper and a bow. In this case, you will need to wrap the “gift”. Then the partners should grab each other, hug each other, leaving only one hand free. Thus, the “halves” are linked into one two-handed whole. And now they must complete the task. The winners are those who do their job the fastest and best.

New Year's dictionary

You need to prepare cards in advance with all the letters of the alphabet, except J, b, b, s, th in an opaque container. The presenter announces the preparation for printing of the Special Holiday Dictionary. Each participant in turn takes out one card and immediately names a New Year-themed word starting with the letter drawn. It is also advisable, together with everyone playing, to come up with a funny interpretation of this word. All concepts are written down so that later a Dictionary can be created in memory of the celebration.

New Year's songs

The presenter puts words associated with the holiday written on separate pieces of paper into an opaque bag or hat: “Christmas tree”, “icicle”, “snowman”, “frost”, “frost”, “snow”, “round dance”, “gift” and etc. Participants take turns pulling out cards, and then try to remember and sing lines from a song with a given word, receiving points for this. The one who scores the most points wins, i.e. remembers the most songs.

Snow shooting range

You need to prepare in advance as many “snowballs” as possible - balls rolled up from paper, cotton wool or, better yet, made from papier-mâché. You can use ping pong balls as snowballs. Participants are divided into two or more teams. Several people (one from each group) stand on chairs - now they are “targets”. Opponents try to hit the target with snowballs. At the same time, players on chairs can move and dodge “enemy projectiles” in every possible way. The most accurate team wins.

In winter conditions

As you know, in order not to freeze in winter, you need to dress warmly. Encourage your guests to see if they have a chance to survive the harsh winter cold. Participants wear warm mittens and gowns provided. Their task is to fasten all the buttons as quickly as possible. The one who completes the task fastest is the winner. The rest need to be saved from the cold in another way - pour a glass of something intoxicating.

Leap into the future

Draw a “scale” in advance: you need to turn a long strip of paper (you can use wallpaper or toilet paper) into a kind of large “ruler”, that is, mark it in centimeters.

Now use your imagination and write some New Year’s wish or prediction next to each mark.

It will be great if you write something humorous.

Participants will have to take a standing long jump, see how far they jumped, and find out what awaits them next year.

Understand me

This game is essentially reminiscent of a television show that was shown on our screens several years ago. Those gathered are divided into two teams (at least 4-5 people in each). Teams line up in two rows. The presenter hands the first participants cards on which phrases are written, preferably more intricate ones. It is necessary to quietly and quickly convey the contents of the card into the ear of the next player. He informs the next one, etc. The last participant must say out loud what he heard. The team that completes the task the fastest and, of course, does not lose the meaning of the phrase during transmission wins.

Sensation

The presenter will need to prepare for this game in advance. You need to cut out various phrases from newspapers, preferably funny or ambiguous, and stick them on cards. Then these cards are distributed to the guests, and they will need to compose a coherent story from them.

It will be fun, especially if the prepared excerpts concern politics, show business, and many other areas of life; you can even take the endings of jokes.

And the further development of the game will depend entirely on the imagination of the participants.

Who said "Woof"?

All participants stand in a circle, with the driver standing in the middle, blindfolded. At the command of the “blind person” the round dance begins to move in a circle, at another command it freezes. The participant standing in the center must blindly point at any other player, and he must bark once. After this, the driver must guess who he pointed at. If he is right, then the one who barked takes his place, and the game continues. The task may be too difficult, since it is difficult to determine the speaker from a short word. Then "Woof!" can be replaced with the phrase “Happy New Year!”

Now prove it!

The presenter writes down the intended word on a piece of paper in advance (for example, “Santa Claus”, “Christmas tree” or something else on a New Year’s theme). All those gathered must, without knowing the mystery, say what this object looks like. Then the presenter announces the word, and now each participant must prove that the hidden thing really resembles what he compared it with. For example, “Santa Claus is like a sofa because he is just as big and soft.”

A A

New Year is just around the corner. An important component of an exciting and fun holiday is New Year competitions. They unite and force event participants to be active.

Some competitions are of a gaming nature, others are for ingenuity, others are for dexterity or ingenuity. Do not forget about the existence of erotic competitions that are suitable for relaxed people.

If you want the New Year's holiday to be remembered for a long time, be sure to include several exciting competitions in the New Year's program. The photographs taken during the process will remind you of this evening and the joyful atmosphere many years later.

The most fun contests for the New Year

I offer 6 fun competitions. With their help, you will cheer up the company, raise your spirits to the maximum, and make the holiday group more active.

  1. “New Year's fishing”. You will need Christmas tree decorations made of cotton wool and a fishing rod with a large hook. Participants in the competition will have to take turns hanging New Year's toys on the street, and then remove them. The one who completes the task faster than others will win.
  2. “Funny drawings”. On a large piece of cardboard, make two holes for the arms. Players will have to draw the Snow Maiden or Father Frost with a brush by putting their hands through the holes. They can't see what they're drawing. The prize will go to the author of the most successful masterpiece.
  3. “Frosty Breath”. In front of each participant, place a large snowflake cut out of paper on the table. The task of each participant is to blow away a snowflake so that it falls on the floor on the other side of the table. The competition ends when the last snowflake hits the floor. The player who takes the longest to complete the task wins. It was all due to his frosty breath, because of which the snowflake “frozen” to the surface of the table.
  4. “Dish of the Year”. Participants will have to prepare a dish using products from the New Year's table. A New Year's salad composition or a unique sandwich will do. Afterwards, a man sits in front of each participant, and all players are blindfolded. The “New Year's hostess” who feeds the dish to the man the fastest will win.
  5. “New Year's melody”. Place bottles and a couple of spoons in front of the competition participants. They must take turns approaching the bottles and sing a melody with their spoons. The winner is the author of the most New Year's musical composition.
  6. “Modern Snow Maiden”. Men participating in the competition dress up women to create the image of a modern Snow Maiden. You can use items of clothing, jewelry, New Year's toys, and all kinds of cosmetics. Victory will go to the “stylist” who created the most unusual and striking image of the Snow Maiden.

The list doesn't end there. If you have imagination, you can come up with a good competition yourself. The main thing is to make it fun and bring smiles to the faces of participants and spectators.

New Year competitions for children and adults

A real holiday, in addition to noisy pastime at the table, includes short dance breaks, mass games and various competitions.

The New Year's celebration is aimed at a mixed audience, so choose New Year's competitions so that everyone can participate. After a half-hour feast, offer guests several musical and active competitions. Having thoroughly blurred and danced, they returned to eating New Year's salads.

I offer 5 interesting competitions for children and adults. I’m sure they will take their rightful place in the New Year’s entertainment program.

  1. “Christmas trees”. Participants imagine that they are Christmas trees standing in the middle of the forest. The presenter says the Christmas trees are tall, low or wide. After these words, the participants raise their arms, squat or spread their arms. The player who makes a mistake is eliminated. The most attentive one wins.
  2. “Dress up the Christmas tree.” You will need garlands, tinsel and ribbons. The Christmas trees will be women and girls. They hold the end of the garland in their hand. Male representatives decorate the Christmas tree, holding the second end of the garland with their lips. The winner is the couple who creates an elegant and beautiful Christmas tree.
  3. “Mummy”. The competition involves the use of toilet paper. Participants are divided into two teams and a mummy is chosen. The rest of the participants will have to mummify her. They wrap the “lucky one” in toilet paper. The teams make sure that there are no gaps between the turns. The team that completes the task faster wins.
  4. "Twins" . Couples participate. For example, mother and son, father and daughter. Participants hug each other around the waist with one hand. For two you will have two free hands. Afterwards the couple will have to cut out the figure. One participant holds the paper, the second wields scissors. The team that makes the most beautiful figure wins.
  5. "Tomato" . The competition is designed for two participants who stand face to face on opposite sides of the chair. A banknote is placed on the chair. At the end of the countdown, participants must cover the bill with their hand. Whoever got there first won. Afterwards, participants are offered a rematch blindfolded. Instead of money, they put a tomato on the chair. The surprise of the participants will amuse the audience.

New Year's games for children

The main holiday of winter is New Year, accompanied by holidays, good mood and a lot of free time. When guests gather in the house, New Year's games for children will come in handy.

Comic tasks, coupled with bright images and a festive mood will create a positive background for the holiday. Even a simple group game will be exciting if you play with a friendly group. Children will especially enjoy the competitions, the victory of which will bring New Year's gifts.

  1. “Tiger Tail”. Participants line up and take the person in front by the shoulders. The first person in line is the head of the tiger. Closing the column is the tail. After the signal, the “tail” strives to catch up with the “head”, which is trying to escape. The “torso” must remain in the coupling. After some time, the children change places.
  2. “Merry round dance”. An ordinary round dance can be significantly complicated. The leader sets the tone, constantly changing the direction and speed of movement. After several circles, lead the round dance like a snake, moving between pieces of furniture and guests.
  3. "Journey" . Team play involves the use of blindfolds and pins. Place the pins in a “snake” pattern in front of the participants of the two teams. Team members join hands and cover the distance blindfolded. All pins must remain upright. The team whose members knock down the fewest pins wins the game.
  4. “Compliment to the Snow Maiden”. Choose Snow Maiden. Then invite several boys who will compliment her. They have to take out pieces of paper with inscriptions from the bag and, based on the words written on them, express “warm words”. The player who voices the most compliments will win.
  5. “Magic words”. Participants are divided into teams and given a set of letters that make up a certain word. Each team member gets only one letter. In the story that the presenter is reading, there are words from these letters. When such a word is heard, the players with the corresponding letters come forward and line up in the required order. The team that is ahead of its opponents earns a point.
  6. "What changed". Visual memory will help you win the game. Each participant carefully examines the toys hanging on the branches of the Christmas tree for a certain time. Then the children leave the room. Several toys are re-hung or new ones are added. When the children return, they need to voice what has changed.
  7. “Gift in a circle”. Participants stand in a circle face to face. The host gives one of the players a gift and turns on the music. Afterwards the gift moves in a circle. After the music stops, the gift transfer stops. The player who has a gift left is eliminated. At the end of the game, there will be one participant left who will receive this souvenir.

Ideas for the New Year

Waiting for a miracle is a tedious task; it is better to create it yourself. What to do? Imagine yourself as a wizard, look around, collect simple objects and create something soulful, shimmering, warm and extraordinary. You will need some free time.

  1. “Christmas balls with fabric applique”. To make your Christmas tree stylish and original, you don’t have to buy expensive toys. You can create an exclusive design using cheap plastic balls without a pattern. Cut out identical motifs from an old scarf or a beautiful piece of fabric and paste them onto the surface of the balls.
  2. “Orange Christmas tree toy”. You will need a few oranges, a beautiful fancy ribbon, a cute rope, and a couple of cinnamon sticks. Cut the oranges into slices and place them in the oven to dry. Tie a cinnamon stick with a string and tie it to an orange slice. Make a loop on top. The final touch is a bow tied to a loop.

Amazing snowflake

It's hard to imagine a New Year's holiday without a dozen playful snowflakes.

  1. Use scissors to trim the ends of the toothpick. Use a paper cutter to make a small cut in the middle of one edge of the toothpick. This will be the main tool.
  2. Make several paper blanks. The width of the strip is around three millimeters. The length is equal to the length of the sheet.
  3. Create a spiral. Carefully insert the edge of the paper strip into the slot on the toothpick and twist it into a spiral. Twist the tool, not the paper. Make sure that the spiral is as even as possible. Remove the spiral and place it on the table.
  4. Spread the edge of the strip twisted into a spiral with glue and press it against the spiral. Press the end lightly. You will get a droplet with a spiral inside. Make as many similar elements as possible.
  5. The shape of the elements can be changed. During gluing, squeeze the element with your fingers, giving it a certain shape. This is how not only circles are created, but droplets and eyes.
  6. Having prepared the required number of elements, begin to form the snowflake. Create a pattern from individual elements, fastening with a drop of glue. You will get an amazingly beautiful snowflake.

Perhaps my ideas for the New Year will seem too simple. If you do everything correctly, the result will be very beautiful, with minimal investment of time and money.

Ideas for the New Year with your family

On this day, grandparents, aunties and parents will gather in one house. You need to try to make the festive night varied and fun. Only advance planning and careful preparation will help with this.

  1. Prepare a script. Each family member is assigned to write a short congratulatory speech. Close people are pleased to hear warm words.
  2. Write humorous toasts on pieces of paper. During the feast, guests will share their own thoughts and amuse each other.
  3. Arrange a family interview. A good video camera will come in handy. You can record the wishes of family members on video.

Traditions

  1. Each family has certain traditions and customs for celebrating the New Year. Some go out and set off fireworks, others visit the main square, others stay at home and exchange gifts.
  2. Family traditions must be followed. This brings back childhood memories when parents tried to arrange a New Year's fairy tale.
  3. Family New Year is a real holiday of love, at this moment we are surrounded by close people, a joyful and calm atmosphere reigns in the house.
  4. This evening, give your family members as much laughter and joy as possible.

New Year is a holiday when you shouldn’t limit yourself to boundaries. On the contrary, let your imagination run wild and give it the opportunity to run wild. In this case, you will get an unusual holiday, a real feast with games, dancing, fun, and delicious cake.

Good luck in the coming year and don't forget to buy New Year's gifts for your loved ones. Don't chase expensive things. Let them be cheaper, but from the heart. See you!
