All-Russian competitions for librarians - these are competitive events that allow librarians to demonstrate their skills, receive high praise for their work, and improve their professional level. Are you looking for a place where you can reveal your talent by presenting event scenarios, holiday designs, or drawings for the works of your favorite writers? We invite you to the portal Cool-chasy.ru, where such competitions are held constantly. In addition to world fame, and each competition work is necessarily published on a separate page with an indication of authorship, participants receive diplomas of participants or winners. Diplomas are the document that confirms the publication of material in the media.

Competitions for librarians in 2017 - 2018: creative and professional

There are libraries in every city and village, towns and villages. These are cultural centers where adults and children come who want to learn something new and find answers to questions. It’s nice when you are greeted by a competent librarian who understands everything perfectly and is ready to help everyone using his professionalism. It is impossible to know everything, but if you constantly improve your professional skills and move forward, then you will conquer any peak. And distance creative competitions for librarians will help with this, in which librarians living in different localities of vast Russia can participate and compete.

The initiators of professional competitions were librarians themselves. These talented and creative workers decided to make themselves known, as teachers, educators, and doctors are already doing. Why not? If you have talent, it needs to be revealed. It is difficult to get into a librarian competition organized in Moscow or Murmansk. But just send your worthy competitive work to participate in a remote competition and wait for the results without leaving your home or workplace. Territorial boundaries have no limits for those who participate in international or all-Russian competitions for library workers. Library workers at school, city, factory, rural and other libraries, museums, and research centers serving readers in reading and subscription rooms are invited to participate in such events.

Participants in competitions among librarians

Just as not only teachers work in a school, so more than just librarians work in a library. Therefore, other categories of library workers are also invited to participate in all-Russian competitions: bibliographers; methodologists; catalogers and others.

The prestige of the librarian profession in our society is not high enough. However, if everyone strives upward, then the prestige will become much higher. Today there are all conditions for realizing this goal, because new professions have entered this industry. Today, administrators and marketers, analysts and designers, sociologists and technologists work in the book kingdom. All of them can also participate in competitions held on the Internet, allowing them to show their skills.

Topics of competitions for librarians of school and city libraries

Every librarian is not only a professional, but also an interesting person. Therefore, it is easier for some to reveal themselves in a professional competition, while others are looking for creative competitions 2017 - 2018. The topics of such events are very diverse. To submit your work, you will first have to study the regulations, which indicate the nominations and age categories of participants. Many distance competitions can involve not only library workers, but also readers doing work under the guidance of an adult. In such cases, the librarian enters his name as the leader of the work, project, drawing and also receives a diploma that can be added to his personal portfolio.

Most often, thematic competitions are held for librarians for holidays and memorable dates. Many have already met them. On the portal Cool-hours.ru the most popular and numerous were:

  • Victory - 70!
  • ABC of safety.
  • On the threshold of the New Year - a monkey at the gate.
  • The pride of Russia.
  • Defenders of the Fatherland.

Who else, if not librarians, should participate and win literary competitions for drawings, presentations and developments (scripts) dedicated to writers' anniversaries. In 2016, the Russian and world community celebrated round dates:

  • Yesenin is 120 years old
  • Simonov is 100 years old
  • Karamzin is 250 years old
  • Fet is 195 years old
  • Mandelstam is 125 years old
  • Twain is 180 years old
  • Gumilyov is 130 years old
  • Bulgakov is 125 years old

I want to make big plans and reach heights. Therefore, in the future there will definitely be new competitions that will identify the best young librarian of 2017 or 2018, as well as the best reader, artist who loves the rustle of books and the silence of the reading room. Stay with us and win, offer your ideas and delight us with new works.

Good afternoon, dear colleagues!

I decided to collect information about competitions for 2018 here. It turned out to be sparse, and most of the competitions were either for school librarians or for audiences of different ages... I want to say that for us, public libraries, there are few competitions, and there are no blog competitions at all... But it’s okay, we are full of strength and enthusiasm, aren’t we , Colleagues? And, I hope, each of you will find in the proposed list something interesting for yourself or your readers, acquaintances, friends!
