Competitions for children 12 years old. Birthday contests (14 years old)

Children love various funny ideas, tricks and pranks, so games with elements of humor are very successful in children's groups. Children like to enjoy themselves and amuse their friends and loved ones, and adults should encourage this desire, because children’s participation in funny competitions and funny pranks develops a sense of humor, helps them to relax and teaches them how to get out of difficult situations with brilliance.

Proposed games - pranks and humorousEuropean competitions for children will decorate a children's party and will be useful for organizing leisure time in holiday camps or at school events (idea of the selection by T. Obraztsova).

1. Prank - a trick with photographs.

Prepare two strings with very small magnets. Tie one around a photo that you mix with other photos. Announce to the guests that you will now show a photo trick, that is, using the simplest string, pull out of the box one special photo that has a “very creepy story” associated with it (“come up with a very creepy story” in advance).

By throwing the string into the box, you will attract the photo with a magnet. Moreover, everything will look as if the rope itself wrapped the photo and tied itself into a knot. Having taken out the photo, “finish off” the guests with your amazing story. Put it in the box

2. Raffle for guests "Young Palmist"

This prank will delight the guests gathered in your home and will certainly bring pleasure to the performer - your son or daughter. The point is to tell the child something about each of the guests in advance, and then, with an air of significance, announce that your child is making great strides in palmistry. Let the young palmist behave mysteriously, use his artistic abilities, prepare a little to use different terms about the life line, Mount of Venus, etc., and give out the information received from you.

Such fun is especially useful if it gives children the opportunity to have fun, participate in an entertainment program and bring benefits.

3. A fun team game for children, “Bullseye!”

Two teams of 10 - 15 people line up. They are given one apple, which must be passed from the first player to the last, holding the fruit between the chin and chest. The one who drops the apple is out of the game. The team earns as many points as there are players left in the line.

Then the participants must eat this apple: they again pass it to each other, biting off a piece. Whoever ate it faster gets 5 points. Then we add up the points for the two competitions and identify the winner.

4. Humorous competition "Torture with balloons"

To organize a relay race you need to recruit 2 - 3 teams of three people.

First stage competition: a balloon, filled with half a glass of water when inflated, must be carried on the head to the intended goal. If the ball falls, then it is picked up and continues to move.

Second phase: Holding the ball between their knees, players must jump to the finish line.

If the ball bursts, the team receives a penalty point.

Third stage: We place the ball on the badminton racket and proceed to the finish line.

Fourth: holding the ball in the air, you need to reach the goal with it.

Points in this team humor competition

are counted for each ball brought to the finish line intact.

5. Surprise for friends “Miracles of telepathy”

This pre-prepared surprise for friends may be unraveled, but it will add excitement and variety to the holiday fun. To organize this prank, it is not at all necessary to have telepathic abilities, but a good memory will not hurt at all.

The bottom line is this: before guests arrive in the premises (others - not where the feast will take place), it is necessary to hide pieces of paper with numbers from 1-25 in advance, all in different places that will not be visible (under a flower pot, under a microwave, etc.) .p.) and remember (!) where which number is located.

Then, at one point during the holiday, the owner announces that he has telepathic abilities and offers to guess the number conceived by someone, asks to write it down on a piece of paper, he himself comes out and pretends that he has just done this and says, the note with the conceived number is there -That. Guests compare what was written and what they found...and admire, several times.

6. Draw "Wishes Fulfilled"

This draw is suitable for any company, you just need to agree with someone in advance. This person must knock on your door at the appointed time and deliver your “order.” You can order any treat: cake, champagne, ice cream. The task of the one who is playing is literally 5 minutes. before the “order” arrives, start a conversation with the guests about how he wants something tasty, and argue with those present that with the power of thought he will now “create a miracle.” You can play out a small telepathic session. This is where the person with the order should appear.

7. Fun prank "Congratulations!"

A cool prank for a group of teenagers. You need to choose one of your friends who you will make “birthday boy”. On the morning of the weekend, all the “conspirators” take turns calling the “birthday boy” and congratulating him on his birthday. And so on all day. Despite the fact that the victim of the prank will deny and say that his name day is only in six months, the conspirators gather in the evening, buy cake, wine and flowers and go to visit the “birthday boy”. What a reason to have a great weekend evening!

8. "Fountain on a hot day"

This prank is especially appropriate as a small one. Buy a bottle of soda, shake it well, and offer anyone in your group a nice refreshing drink. When your friend starts to unscrew the cork, it is better to move away from him - a fountain of sparkling water will spill out of the bottle. If you consider it necessary, then run away from your friend!

9. Joke at the party “You ruined my jacket!”

For this prank you will need a spool of thread. It should be placed in the pocket of your friend’s jacket, coat or cardigan. Moreover, the tip of the thread must hang outside. The person wearing the jacket will either see the thread himself or you will pay attention to it. When you try to remove a thread from clothing, a rather comical situation will result.

10. "The Coolest"

For this joke you will need a wooden egg, which will be perfectly similar to the real one, and an ordinary hard-boiled one. Invite one of the guests to crush a wooden egg in the palm of one hand. He, of course, cannot do this. Then, cleverly replacing the wooden egg with a real one, perform the same trick. Your egg will certainly burst. So you can proclaim yourself the strongest strongman, or rather “the coolest”

11. Competition "Pinch - flake!"

First, the host selects two participants, blindfolds them, and asks the guests to help him and attach as many clothespins to the players as possible in the most unexpected places. Second stage: now the players must blindly remove the clothespins from each other. Time - 2 min. whoever has more wins.

12. "Crazy Barbers"

Dial 5 - 6 pairs: boy-girl and announce a hairdressing competition. It is better to choose girls with long hair, they will be “clients”. We blindfold the girls. We give the guys colored and shiny varnishes, various hair ties and hair clips. We time it for 5 minutes. There are no limits to the flight of fancy of “crazy barbers”. The winner is the one who finishes in 5 minutes. will create the most stunning hairstyle.

13. "Super Makeup Artist"

The principle of the game is the same as in “Crazy Barbers,” only here, instead of blindfolds, there will be a complete absence of a mirror and instead of hairdressing, there will be a chance to be known as the best makeup artist of the season. Each participant is given a set of cosmetics, which he applies to himself without looking. We also evaluate the winner based on the extravagance of their makeup.

14. "Let's claim the record!"

The Guinness Book of Records contains many of the most “stupid” achievements, so why not fool around and add to this collection? (Just remember the safety rules)

We are recruiting 2 teams of 10 people. The game takes place in three rounds. First, the teams are given a dish of pasta. They are allowed to be eaten without using hands. The presenter records the time during which the people consumed the first dish, and we move on to the second. In this case, the number of players is halved. This time we serve watermelons or melons, cut into large slices. Here, too, the time of “dealing with” the product is recorded.

For dessert - three large bottles of soda. There are also three players. How long will it take them to drink one and a half liters of water? We record the time. Then we summarize: the team that (based on the total time) of the three competitions ate faster receives a prize - a big cake.

15. "Gourmets"

You will need “exotic” products: boiled turnips, diet bread, drinking whey, any greens.

Five players should not see what is on the table - we blindfold them. Their task is to name the foods in the ears of the presenter’s five assistants in three bites. The answers are recorded and announced afterwards. Whichever player guessed the most products is a good job.

16. "Cool Cooks"

21. Raffle "How to play cuckaramboo?"

No more than 20 people sit in a circle.

Host: “Do you know how to play kukaryamba?” The player, of course, responds. Which is not. Then asks the same question to the next one. So it all comes back to the host: “I also don’t know how to play kukaryamba. Then why are you all sitting here?” - and pushes his neighbor in the side.

22. "Ambiguous Statement"

We are recruiting boy-girl pairs. We tie them back to back and give them a variety of tasks: dance the gypsy, wash the dishes, cut onions, and so on.

23. "Crocodile" with forgery"

Here the player needs to depict for his team the item that is indicated on the paper. But the players agree in advance that they cannot understand what is being portrayed to them.

24. "School of Scarecrows"

We line up the participants in a circle and ask them to: spread their feet shoulder-width apart, raise their arms up, and make the scariest face they can. And now, swaying like trees during a hurricane, pronounce various sounds in a scary voice, as if you are scaring someone. Congratulations! You have successfully passed the certification at Scarecrow School!

25. "Babok-Ezhek Competition"

We recruit 2 teams and give each a broom or broom. Then we arrange tests for the players: overcome an obstacle course, take each team member to the finish line, dance tango on a broom, etc. Such a competition is especially good for a thematic game program, for example, dedicated to folk tales.

26. "Fun Relay Race"

Two teams are needed.

We organize a whole range of competitions for them:

1 carry a full glass of water to the finish line;

2. We carry a head of cabbage on our heads;

5. one holds the player by the legs, and he hurries to the finish line on his hands;

6. two players carry a third player in their clasped hands to the finish line;

7. jumping in bags;

8. clasp hands back to back;

9. tie your legs to your legs and go to the finish line;

10. We blindfold ourselves and look for the finish line.

27. "Wall Walking"

There are as many people playing as can fit against the wall. We stand facing the wall and place our palms on it. The presenter asks various funny questions. With each correct answer, the player “steps” with his palm up. The funniest thing begins when everyone’s hands are raised to the limit, and the presenter keeps asking and asking his questions.

28. "Luntiki"

Let's form a circle. The presenter gets down on all fours and crawls inside the circle saying: “Be-be-be! I am Luntik number one! Which of the players laughed and took the same pose, only calling himself “Luntik number two (three, four, etc.)”

29. "Istanbul Donkey"

We remove five players. Everyone else stands in a circle. They should shout as loudly as possible: “I am the Istanbul donkey!” The presenter chooses the one who turns out to be vocal in his place. Yes - several times. Then we let in the first removed player. We do the same with him, and when he understands that he needs to scream louder than everyone else, we launch the third one. But the players must immediately be warned that when the second deleted one appears, everyone needs to be silent, then only one will call himself an ass, i.e. the first participant removed.

We repeat this trick with all other players who are waiting for their turn.

30. "Who do you look like?"

The presenter comes out, and the players make a wish for someone present. Then the presenter asks questions like “what tree is this person like?” or “what animal?”

It turns out very funny if the presenter himself makes a mystery. If he manages to guess, then the hidden person is revealed. If not, then it all starts again.

31. "Strange Animal"

The presenter's task is to make a wish and show the animal using pantomime. But the players agree in advance that under no circumstances will they name the correct answer, even if they guess. So the game with the poor leader continues until he realizes what is happening.

32. "Complicated Relationships"

In which we did without competitions. But... There were so many requests in the comments for help in organizing the holiday that I searched the Internet three times in search of games and entertainment that were not very childish and did not require the presence of an adult presenter.

The task, I tell you, is very difficult. There are funny competitions, but they are too early to hold in adolescence, and they can only amuse drunken guests. This doesn't suit us...

Where to begin

The “Holiday Again” website contains many ready-made free scripts. These are not only selections of competitions, but also full-fledged home quests and creative programs (culinary, photo parties, etc.)

Dancing with obstacles

First stage. We stretch one rope at a height of 1 meter, and the other at a height of 50 cm from the floor. You can move them a little, not one above the other. As a rule, there is no place to tie in the apartment; you have to hold the ends of the upper and lower ropes in your right and left hands.

Now we turn on dance music (preferably fast Latin) and ask you to step over the bottom rope and crawl under the top rope. If there are few guests, several dance circles.

Second phase. We blindfold two participants tightly and ask them to overcome obstacles. We are quietly removing the ropes... all that remains is to observe the efforts of the careful dancers.

Frozen Artist

Presenter: “We need two people who can draw well.” He gives them a felt-tip pen: “Only today you won’t need this, I’ll put a spell on you. Imagine that there is an invisible sheet of paper in front of you, prepare a felt-tip pen and... freeze!”

We call the other two participants, to whom we give a landscape sheet (it is better to attach it to a solid base). The idea is for artists with felt-tip pens to stand motionless, and their assistants move the sheet along the tip of the felt-tip pen, trying to capture a drawing that everyone can understand. It could be a portrait of the birthday person, a birthday cake with candles, or just a house with a tree and the sun. Everything turns out funny, try it!

Siamese twins

You need to write some part of the body on the cards, call all the guests and line them up in pairs. Each pair draws a card and sticks with the body part they were given, like Siamese twins. Toes, heels, backs of heads, elbows, knees, backs. Now you need to tie a scarf to each other. Let one pair perform, the rest just watch. The one who had the most difficult situation wins. Try putting a scarf on your “twin” if your backs are stuck together...

What did you do there?

The game is equally fun among both children and adults, since it’s hard to think of anything more fun than random coincidences of questions and answers.

We write on the signs:“Dentist’s office”, “Director’s office”, “Toilet”, “Bathhouse”, “Bakery”, “Cinema”, “Post Office”, “Park”, “Zoo”, “Theater”, “Barbershop”, “Basement” , “Construction”, “Kindergarten”, “Pension Fund”, “Desert Island”, “Fitness Club”.

The player stands with his back to the guests, and the host places a sign with one of these inscriptions on his back. The guests know what they are talking about, but the “lucky one” answers at random. Players can be changed. Here is a sample list of questions (you cannot answer “yes” or “no”):

  • Do you go there often? (Every Friday, three times a week, rarely but with pleasure)
  • Do you like this place? (It can be better, I still don’t understand for sure)
  • Who do you usually go there with?
  • Which famous people would you like to meet there?
  • What do you usually take with you there? Name three things.
  • What do you usually do there?
  • Why did you choose this place?

We change the sign and the player. It’s fun when you go to kindergarten once a month with Alla Pugacheva, take a laptop and a toothbrush with you, practice ballet there or eat pizza)&

Downed pilots

I once held this game on February 23 at school, but all the spectators were so carried away that I boldly suggest organizing it at a birthday party. Oddly enough, it’s exciting.

We make 5-6 paper airplanes, and put about 20 paper lumps in a basket. One person launches airplanes (choose the longest side in the room), everyone else tries to shoot down the flying airplanes. If this is a competition to identify the winner, we give each person 5 attempts.

Fashion show

It can be held at the moment when you want to invite guests to the table. Line them up against the opposite wall and solemnly announce (no need to hand out roles in advance): “The following have arrived for the gala dinner: a famous yogi, a dancer from the east, Baba Yaga, a fairy-tale Princess, an Ogre, the rat Shushera, a Ballerina from the Bolshoi Theater, a one-legged Pirate, the President of Russia , a bodybuilding champion, a famous supermodel (actress), a baby who learned to walk today.

All guests need to walk a few steps in character and sit down at the table.

Unlucky sculptor

There is no need to tell anyone the name of the competition in advance, otherwise the meaning will become clear, and we don’t need that. All guests must go to another room, leaving only the host and three players. You appoint one as a sculptor and ask him to put the other two in the most uncomfortable positions. For example, let the first one freeze, doing push-ups from the floor in the top position, and the second one sit on his back, clasping his hands behind him. And now the presenter changes the one who has the hardest time in the new sculpture to the sculptor himself. Since you yourself invented torture for others, take the rap :-).

Now you can start one new player from another room. Now it is the sculptor who must examine the previous strange statue and create his new one, again coming up with complex poses. We repeat everything, the sculptor takes the place of the victim himself. It always turns out funny, try it! Naturally, all other guests enter one by one and remain in the room until the end of the game.

Snowman

Line up several people (4-6) behind each other, sideways to the guests. Show the last player a simple drawing of a snowman and ask him to draw THIS on the back of the previous player. He tries to understand what was depicted to him, draws on his back what he understood (silently). So we get to the first in this line, who must depict the initial drawing on blank paper. Usually the snowman turns into a face :-). The rest of the details are lost along the way.

Guess what's in your hands

Thanks to the oddities of soft toy manufacturers, this competition turns out to be funny. We blindfold the player and ask him to guess what he is holding in his hands. For example, when we asked to identify a snake in a Santa Claus hat with a gift bag, the girl said that it was a snail. Guests are always surprised that they were unable to guess such an obvious animal. It’s funnier if a person comments out loud on his guesses.

What would the Indians call you?

This is not a competition, just a reason to laugh at the table while eating cake. I found a picture on the Internet and laughed myself. These are joke names that the Indians might give you. The first column is the first letter of the name, the second column is the first letter of the surname. I, Irina Panasyan, would be called the Playful Pelican...

Verbal shifters

Solving the shifters is fun. Let me remind you that this is:

Milk boils over standing sand (which means, “Water does not flow under a lying stone”).

I won’t list all the options with answers, just copy the link, there are about 100 options:

http://livk.ru/category/igry/perevertyshi/

Upside-down pictures

Print these pictures and cut them out so that the answer is not so obvious. In principle, you can cover the half with a sheet of paper directly on the monitor. First, show the first one: “You see, here a huge crow grabbed a little man with its beak. Guess what you will see if you turn the picture over.” Correct answer: “A man in a boat near an island, to which a huge fish swam.” There is a lot of this on the site I give!

Puzzles

Move 3 matches so that the arrow points in the other direction. There are answers to all riddles!

I advise you to buy fireplace (long) matches. This is more obvious in a company.

Questions and answers

This is absolutely a win-win entertainment. Tested at thousands of children's and adult parties. I found a site that has a selection of questions and answers that are relatively appropriate for birthdays for 12-14 year olds.

This is how it should be done. It is enough for only the presenter to have questions; you can read them in a row. But the answers should be printed on separate pieces of paper and guests should be invited to draw out a piece of paper at random: “Do you brush your teeth?” - “Yes, I have many talents...”

Drawing 3D

Nowadays creative master classes are popular even among adults, so let’s not lag behind. I like that this particular drawing ALWAYS works for EVERYONE, and it looks very impressive. What do you need? Album sheets for each person, a simple pencil, markers and 5-7 minutes of time.

Place your left palm on the sheet and trace along the outline with a pencil. Now take a felt-tip pen of any color and draw parallel lines at a distance of 1 cm from each other. Just a straight line from the edge of the paper, and where the outline of the hand begins, you need to draw an arc. After the outline of the hand, continue the straight line. From the picture, I think everything is clear. It turns out a real 3D drawing! I think it's great!

Using felt-tip pens of other colors, we repeat the bends of the first lines, this is already quite simple. If you put a date on the picture and hang it in a frame, you will remember for a long time what a good time you had with your friends on your birthday.

What else is on this site...

  • There are excellent quest scenarios:, and, which you can organize for your guests. In both quests, you can change the tasks themselves (make them more difficult or easier).
  • If there are only girls at the party, look and.
  • . There are tasks there that can be used not only in the New Year.
  • Also... At this age they often end up studying music and drawing, so I advise you to watch:

13 PANTOMIME
All participants are divided into two teams. The first team comes up with a clever word and then says it to one of the players on the opposing team. The task of the chosen one is to depict the hidden word without making a sound, only with gestures, facial expressions and plastic movements, so that his team can guess what was planned. After successfully guessing, the teams change roles. After some practice, this game can be complicated and made much more interesting by guessing not words, but phrases.

This game is played by two or two teams. Each player (or team) writes ten words of five letters on a piece of paper, but not the whole word, but only its three middle letters. After this, the players exchange pieces of paper and everyone must add a letter to the left and to the right, so that they get a word.

For example: -tva- decoction, -ate- kater. The one who manages it first wins.

17. ARTISTS

In this game, one of you will take on the role of leader. The presenter writes 20 words on a piece of paper in advance - singular common nouns in the nominative case. Let him prepare two or three of these twenty: experience shows that they will like this game and will want to repeat it, especially since the first round will be like a test.
When the game time comes, the presenter will give everyone a blank sheet of paper and a pencil and say something like this: “Draw the sheet into twenty cells. I have a list of twenty words. I will name the first word and count to three. During this time, you must be in the first cell, make a drawing symbolizing the concept contained in this word.
The game is that based on your drawings you will then have to, when you fill in all 20 cells, reproduce the very words that these drawings mean. It is clear that a quick reaction is needed here: in three seconds, find and capture some characteristic detail. So, if the word hare is named, it is enough to draw two long ears; a few stripes will tell you that I named the tiger. When all the cells are filled with drawings, write captions for them. Whoever can reproduce the most words is the winner."
As players become more comfortable with the game, you need to introduce them to more difficult tins to graphically depict.

For example: laziness, health, braggart.

The most interesting thing in this game is looking at the drawings of other players.

18.Number of players: any. Optional: ribbon, ring

Thread a ribbon into the ring and tie the ends. Participants in the game stand in a circle and pick up a circular ribbon with a ring so that it is inside. The driver stands in the center of the circle and closes his eyes.
Participants begin passing the ring along the ribbon. On command, the driver opens his eyes and tries to guess whose hand the ring is in. If you didn't guess correctly - a penalty point. At this time, the players imitate passing the ring, all at once. The participant whose ring was found stands in the center and the game continues again. At the end the results are summed up.
The driver with the fewest penalty points wins.

19.
"We all sang songs"
The host reads the definition of the children's song, and the guests, guessing, sing it.

Tasks:
- a song about a part of the land surrounded by water, whose inhabitants are happy from constantly eating tropical fruits (“Chunga-changa”);
- a song about a heavenly-colored vehicle (“Blue Car”);
- a song about how bad weather conditions cannot ruin the holiday (“We will survive this trouble”);
- a song about how a shaggy creature performs a musical composition and at the same time takes sunbathing (“I’m lying in the sun”)
- a song about a plant that grew up in the wild and was cut down by a peasant (“A Christmas tree was born in the forest”);
- a song about how fun it is to march with a group (“It’s fun to walk together”);
- a song about a small creature whose color resembles a certain vegetable (“A grasshopper sat in the grass”).

20. Competition "The Big Picture"

Teams participate in the competition. For the competition you will need whatman paper, there should be as many of them as there are teams. You also need to prepare markers (one marker per participant). Teams stand along one line, at a distance of 3-4 meters from it there is a Whatman paper on the table, each team has its own table. Each participant is given one felt-tip pen, everyone has a different color. At the presenter’s signal, the first participants run to the Whatman paper and within 30 seconds begin to draw a picture. When 30 seconds have passed, the presenter says change, and the players change, the second participant runs. Thus, all participants take turns drawing a picture. The team with the most beautiful picture wins.

21. Game "Smile of the Cheshire Cat"

This game is similar to the famous games "What? Where? When?" and "Brain Ring". The name of the game was given due to its resemblance to the Cheshire Cat, which disappeared in parts. The game involves two teams with the same number of players. Each team is asked one question. If the players answer correctly, then one of them leaves the game (“disappears”), if the team cannot answer, the turn passes to the other team. The winner is the team that was the first to “disappear” completely. The winning team can be given small toy cats as a prize.

22. Competition "Attentiveness will not hurt"

Up to 20 people can participate in the competition. Participants must complete the leader’s tasks in reverse. For example, if the presenter says that you need to raise your hands, you need to lower them. The participant who does what the leader says, and not the opposite action, is eliminated. Thus, the number of participants is gradually decreasing. The most attentive participant remains. Examples of presenter tasks: raise your arms, jump, lean to the left, sit down, raise your left arm, cross your arms, raise your head, bend forward. The number and options of tasks are selected individually.

23. Competition "Trace in History"

You will need: sheets of paper, markers. Two teams are recruited. Each team is given a sheet and markers and chooses a captain. Both captains leave or are blindfolded. the remaining team members are given half a minute to leave their “mark” on a piece of paper - make a fingerprint, sign, leave an imprint of lipstick, even a sole, anything, the main thing is that each participant takes part in this (except for the captains). After half a minute, the captains are given these “creations” and they must guess where the footprint of each member of their team is. For every mistake there is a penalty point. The team that scores fewer penalties wins.

Few people imagine a modern children's birthday party without interesting competitions for children and animators, who, in fact, hold these competitions. But in the context of the global financial crisis, people are beginning to abandon the services of agencies in favor of freelance artists, or even look for ways to independently organize children’s birthday competitions.

Parents of twelve-year-old children face a certain problem. The fact is that competitions for children 12 years old should not be very adult, but not quite childish either. How to choose the best birthday contests for children 12 years old?

Most children of this age are no longer interested in jumping in sacks, popping balloons, or guessing riddles in unison. These children consider themselves too old for such entertainment. It is necessary to select competitions so that they are similar to adult entertainment, but do not contain vulgarity or humiliation.

It is also important to remember that the gender of the guests also determines preferences. There are competitions and games that everyone likes, and there are those that attract only boys or girls.

So, let's get down to the competitions themselves.

Dating competitions

The first competition at a birthday party should help children relax. Not all young guests may know each other. Familiarization games will help correct this and make children feel freer. For example, "The Blackbird", "The Hatter and the Hats" or "The Golden Goose".

Photo competitions

Now remember that most children have their own phones and tablets with cameras. What does this tell us? About the fact that you can use photo competitions for the birthdays of children 12 years old. It is not necessary to have a photo of the zone. You can offer children a topic for the best photo. For example, “Holidays with friends,” “Superheroes,” or something related to the theme of the party itself. You can offer children a variety of accessories: fake mustaches, glasses, noses, wigs and much more.

Dance competitions

You can also use all sorts of dance marathons as birthday competitions. The secret to the success of these marathons is popular music and interesting movements. You can also create obstacles and make it difficult to complete tasks in every possible way. For example, we dance without lifting our feet from the floor and our hands from our knees. And in general, you never know what the intricate human mind can come up with.

Creative competitions

Interesting competitions for children's birthdays can be found among art games. For example, a game called “Animated Canvas”. The point is that a person stands with a bright felt-tip pen in his hand, preferably a wide one, but this person stands motionless. His partner draws, moving the canvas (ordinary Whatman paper) and trying to draw a picture. This may be a given image or one conceived by the artist himself. The rules of this competition can be changed endlessly, the main thing is to choose the ones that are suitable for your party.

Another interesting drawing game is “Psychic”. We line up all the participants in a line one after another. We give each person a pencil and a piece of paper. We show the drawing to the very last one. Something as simple as a snowman or a tree. He must silently redraw the drawing, placing the piece of paper on the back of the person in front. He must redraw it according to the same principle, but relying only on his “back” sensations. And so on until the last. You won't believe what a tree can become by the end of the game.

In general, pairs and team games, relay races and competitions for children 12 years old are what is needed. Especially if you have an even number of guests. Children of this age love to show their superiority over their peers, the main thing is not to go too far, otherwise the birthday party will turn into a fight for prizes.

Fun birthday contests

Try this competition: on pieces of paper, all participants must write several different parts of the body (don’t tell them why this is necessary). Next, place all the pieces of paper in a basket and mix thoroughly. We put the participants into pairs and ask them to draw out one piece of paper. We read out the dropped parts and connect them with their help. For example, it fell out: an arm and a leg - we take a rope or ribbon and tie the arm of one participant and the leg of another. Then we invite them to complete a task in this position: move something from place to place, put a tie on a partner or tie a scarf. Whoever does the best job in the most difficult pose is the winner. You can assign nominations and prizes, or you can award everyone.

Verbal birthday competitions for children 12 years old are going off with a bang. Crocodile, Elias, Field of Miracles, Papers, I'm Going to the Forest, What were you doing there? – everything that makes you think carefully and laugh. You won't believe how long it can take to guess an ordinary "spinning top" or understand that you are the "Lion King".

Children's competitions for themed parties

Both boys and girls enjoy playing such a game as “Air Defense”. Strange name for a children's game? - Not at all. The goal is to shoot down paper airplanes with paper projectiles. One launches, everyone tries to shoot it down. Whoever has the most surviving planes is a great guy. It can be the other way around. The game is especially suitable for parties in the style of pirates or space sagas.

Fashion show competitions are great for girls' parties. You can invite the girls to choose their own images, draw lots, or simply name them. The point is to express your image as clearly as possible in one pass. These games are also great for creative and artistic guys. The main thing is to correctly fit their performance into the overall concept of the party.

The “Moment” competition gives vivid impressions. We select the presenter and expel him from the room. The rest should freeze as quickly as possible in a scene depicting a specific event. The goal of the presenter is to guess what kind of event it is. Naturally, we change the presenter every time, as well as the scene.

The wonders of the toy industry gave the animators an interesting idea for the competition. The point is to be blindfolded and determine what kind of toy it is. Even ordinary bears turn into lions, turtles and, at the very least, dogs. The surprise expressed by the competition participants is always incommensurate with the result.

Table competitions and quizzes

You can also diversify the children's feast. If there is very little space for active entertainment, you can arrange table competitions and quizzes. Puzzles, flip-flops, riddles, crosswords, quizzes, video and audio guessing games. The gaming industry offers us many interesting board and table games.

Well, all parents definitely want competitions for children’s birthdays to not only bring joy, but also be useful to the children. They carried an educational component. It can be easily included in quizzes and quests, as well as in drawing competitions. For example, 3D drawing.

It is easy to do and absolutely everyone can do it. Especially, drawing a hand. To do this, you only need a few multi-colored markers and the ability to draw semicircular lines. The effect is amazing and the effort is minimal.

But, in any case, when choosing competitions for children for their birthday, you must remember the main rule: they must fit into the theme. You can't fly spaceships at an Indian party and play Vikings on a spaceship. Birthday competitions must necessarily coincide with the theme of the holiday itself.

Well, the birthday boy himself will be happy to help you decide on the theme itself. Ask him what he likes best. This will be the answer to the birthday theme question. Write down the number of competitions with a good margin, because the reaction of children cannot be predicted. If you see that the competition is not going well, change it and move on to the next one. After all, the purpose of any holiday is pleasure.

We hope that the birthday competitions we offer for children 12 years old will help make your holiday brighter.

Competition-entertainment “Hypnotizable”

This entertainment requires a little preliminary preparation. 10-15 minutes before the start, start talking about a new hobby, hypnosis courses. And someone (pre-planned or who can simply force it by nature) asks you to conduct a hypnosis session. The most relaxed men are selected and a monologue is pronounced: “I don’t know everything yet, but I can lead you not into hypnosis, but into a state preceding hypnosis. I recently learned how to recall pleasant memories from childhood that you have forgotten. The main thing is to close your eyes and follow my instructions.” You invite the guys to come forward. “So let’s close our eyes ...(the main condition is that everything is done with your eyes closed). Let's imagine ourselves as little children. Summer. This is your first time at sea with your parents. The waves gently tickle your heels. you're running ...(participants need to imitate running). You kneel down and see something shiny in the sand (again you need to imitate what was said). You reach out your hand ( participants extend their hand) to this shining treasure (the role of the treasure is played by a circle of sausage on a plate or a piece of bread held by your assistants), but you don't know yet that it's a diamond. You see a boy who didn't have time to grab the diamond, you turn around and stick your tongue out at him (show tongue). In this moment ( when guys are on their knees with their hands outstretched towards the sausage or bread and sticking out their tongues at each other) you say loudly: “Gentlemen, a detachment of fighting dogs is ready to search for the missing sausage!” And then uproarious laughter. It is advisable to take a photo of the “combat squad” at this moment.

Competition "Nature"

This competition is held between teams. The competition is similar to the game "Cities". Teams take turns naming trees or animals, with subsequent words starting with the last letter of the previous word. For example, willow - antelope - quince - ... The team that says the last word wins the competition. The most active participant can be given a gift, for example, an encyclopedia about nature. The competition can be made more difficult by introducing restrictions on the habitat of the so-called animals and trees. For example, you can only name animals and trees in the middle zone.

Competition "Leaflets"

This competition is held for teams to come up with a name for themselves. For the competition you will need leaves from artificial flowers and two baskets. Letters are written on the reverse sides of some pieces of paper. All the leaves are scattered around the room where the competition is taking place. At the leader’s signal, the teams begin to collect the leaves in their baskets. After a minute, the teams must give their baskets to the presenter. The presenter looks through the pieces of paper, and he gives those pieces of paper on which the letters are written to the teams. Next, the teams are given a minute to come up with a name for the team, made up of letters on the pieces of paper they found. After a minute, the teams say their names. The team that comes up with the longest name wins.

All participants stand around the leader. The leader stands in the center of the circle with all the things. The host announces that the participants must dress like the inhabitants of Pandora. To do this, they will need the things he has. But he won’t just give these things away, so the participants will have to carry out the tasks of the presenter. The host asks the question: “Who agrees to make a toast in honor of the birthday boy for this thing?” and raises up the thing for which the participants will fight. Participants who agree should raise their hand. The remaining participants are leaving the circle for now. After the participants have made a toast, the presenter gives everyone the same thing as he showed. Then all participants stand in a circle again, and the leader asks the next question. This continues until all the things are taken away or until no one agrees to complete the task for the remaining things. Then the second stage begins. Participants must use the items they earn to create an outfit for themselves, like the inhabitants of Pandora. 5 minutes are given for the transformation. The winner is determined by the birthday boy.

Competition "Holiday make-up"

This competition is held at a birthday party. For the competition you will need white paints ( gouache or paints for body art). Each participant is given a jar of white paint and a mirror. At the presenter’s signal, participants must paint a holiday coloring on their face and body in three minutes, just as the inhabitants of Pandora did in the movie “Avatar.” After the time is up, participants must submit their holiday coloring for the judges. The winner is determined by voting or by the presenter. The winner is given an album for his further creations.

After 5 minutes, the presenter stops the competition and counts how many braids the girls have braided and how many objects they have woven into their braids. The winners are determined in two categories: 1) the largest number of braids, 2) the largest number of woven feathers and beads. Both winners are given incentive prizes, such as combs.

Game "The Addams Family"

The whole company gathers in one room. The presenters - two, preferably a guy and a girl - go into another room. Inviting one participant at a time, they bring him in, put him right in front of him and say a phrase accompanied by gestures: “Hello ( bow of head), we are the Adams family ( pointing your hands at yourself), You are our guest ( point with your hands at the subject), now you will entertain us ( pointing your hands at yourself) until we ( pointing your hands at yourself) to you ( point your hands at the player) let's not applaud ( clap your hands)". After this phrase, the presenters fall silent and wait for the player’s actions. The essence of the game is that, no matter what the player does, the leading ( Adams family) everyone repeats after him ( complete similarity is not necessary). The game with this player ends after, naturally, the family applauds the player. Next, the player joins the family, becoming the leader, and a new victim is introduced. Experiments have shown that the more people, the merrier.

Competition "Anatomy in a Song"

This competition is perfect for reviewing biology and anatomy lessons. Two teams participate in the competition. It is important that songs are counted only if the team sings them together. The team that remembers the most songs wins.

Game "Blind Volleyball"

If an insurmountable wall suddenly appears on your path in life, then this game will help you use it as a net for blind volleyball. Two teams stand on one side and the other side of the wall. Then you can play in the following ways: - the technique of serving and hitting the ball is the same as in volleyball; - you just try to throw the ball over the wall by any means in order to score the “ball” on your opponent. Thus, the main goal of the game is to score as many goals as possible in enemy territory. The difficulty is that most of the time you see the ball after it has floated to your side. The game perfectly develops reaction.

Game "Sharks and fish"

This game is best played in the pool. To begin with, 3 drivers are selected. They stand in the middle of the pool. Players stand at one edge of the pool. The drivers play the role of sharks, and the rest of the players play the role of fish. Sharks first name any color or geometric shape. If players have it on their clothing or accessories ( hairpins, bracelets, watches) the named color or figure is present, they swim freely past the sharks to the other side of the pool, and those who remain must pass so that the sharks do not “eat” them. Fish that are “eaten” are eliminated from the game. Then the fish try to swim across the pool again, and the sharks ask questions. This continues until the sharks eat all the fish.

Competition "Walking Alphabet"

This competition is about team building. To begin, prepare about 5 questions. Each question can be answered in one word, quite short. Next, write down the letters of these words on large A4 sheets and distribute them to each young man. If there are few children, then you can give out 2 letters per person. The main thing is that the participants attach these sheets to sweaters or T-shirts using pins. After this, you ask question after question, and the guys must distribute themselves so that the letters that are indicated on their clothes make up the answer words. This competition can be held for two teams. In this case, prepare two copies of the letters, and conduct the competition itself “for a while.”

Competition "Choco Boxing"

This competition will surely appeal to all participants. Purchase a box of Assorted chocolates in advance or select different candies in the store yourself: with cream filling, with nuts, with nougat or marmalade, with candied fruits or puffed rice, toffee and caramel. Next, invite the participants and explain to them the rules of the competition: in front of each of them there is a plate with the same set of sweets and a sheet of paper with a pen. The sheet contains the names of the candies, which should indicate to the participants the filling of the candies, for example, if the candy has nuts, name it “Nutcracker” or “Squirrel”. Participants must write on a sheet of paper what they think is contained in the candy. To do this, you need to “taste” the candies. For convenience, number the packages of candies, and put numbers on the sheet indicating the candies. The winner is the participant who is the first to name the exact composition of the filling of each candy. For which he can receive the title “Miss Candy”.

Game "Morse code"

This is an old school fun game. There were craftsmen who wrote dictations based on this game, thus inserting commas, periods and other punctuation marks “correctly”. To conduct the competition you will need a ball of rope, such as twine. Next, you recruit two teams of boys. You plant them one after another. Cut the rope and tie the right legs of the participants of each team in a “chain” (the right leg of the first participant is connected to the right leg of the second, the right leg of the second is connected to the right leg of the third participant, etc.). Thus, we have two teams of chain transmitters. Give the first player of each team a message written in Morse code, and the last player - a transcript and a sheet of paper with a pen. The first participant must “transmit” each signal to the second, the second - to the third, etc. until the last one, who will write down all the characters, after which he will have to solve the encryption. The code is transmitted as follows: dot - short movement of the foot forward, dash - long movement of the foot. It is better to encrypt simple phrases.

Game "Bag with a surprise"

To play, you will need a bag in which you need to put various funny things, for example, adult diapers, underwear, colored scarves, funny hats. All players go to the dance floor. When the music starts, everyone should dance and pass each other a bag with things. At the moment when the music stops, the person who has the bag must take one thing out of the bag without looking and put it on. Then the music starts again and the game continues. The game continues until all the items are worn by the participants.

Competition "Etiquette Expert"

For the competition, prepare the following in advance: cut out a tablespoon, a teaspoon, a coffee spoon, a regular fork, a dessert fork, and a regular knife from paper or cardboard. This is for one set, and the number of sets depends on the number of participants. Plus add one plastic cup to each set. Next, on regular sheets of paper, print out a picture of the table setting, without an image of the position of the glasses (glasses, etc.) and cutlery. The number of such sheets must correspond to the number of participants. Next, about the competition itself. At the beginning, each participant is given a set of forks, spoons, knives, cups and one piece of paper, on which, within the allotted time, participants must correctly arrange the cutlery and place the cup. The participant who completes the task first wins the competition.

Game "Whistle"

Now you invite one of those outside the door. He stands in a circle, and while you are blindfolding him, one of the players carefully pins a thread with a whistle on his back so that he does not notice it. Then you say that one of the players sitting around him has stolen a magic whistle and he needs to find the culprit. At this time, one of the players blows the whistle and carefully releases it. It can take a very long time for a blindfolded player to turn towards the whistle and realize that the magic whistle is tied to his own back! Then they also call another of the three who were taken out of the room.

Game "Cradle"

You need a rope 2-3 m long. Two people hold the rope, each holding one of the ends. You can tie one end to a post or tree, and then one person can hold it. The rope is not twisted, but only swung above the ground at different heights - from 10-20 cm to 50 and higher. Participants one at a time ( or in pairs) they run up and jump over the swinging rope or start jumping in different ways: with closed legs, on one leg, with crossed legs, with a turn while jumping, etc. They jump until they make a mistake. The one who made a mistake replaces one of those swinging the rope. Not only a failed jump, but also any brushing of the rope is considered a mistake. However, if this happened due to the fault of those twisting the rope, then the jumper has the right to try again.

Competition "Holiday Set"

This competition is based on the well-known word game. On the board, write a “vinaigrette” of letters that, if formed correctly, form the phrase “Valentine’s Day.” The contestants' task is to use pieces of paper to construct as many words as possible from these letters. For each word - a point. The participant who scores the most points wins. Also, a separate prize is awarded to the participant who is the first to guess which phrase is encrypted in this “vinaigrette” of letters.

Entertainment "Broken Hearts"

This competition is perfect for boys and girls who are embarrassed to get into pairs. He will help you choose pairs. Cut out as many hearts in advance as you need to make pairs. Then cut each heart in half, creating the most unusual cuts. Some halves go to boys, others to girls. To ensure that there are no broken hearts at your holiday, invite all guests to quickly find their “halves.” As an option to continue the fun, you can invite everyone present to choose the best couple by voting.

Competition "Diver"

This competition is held in a swimming pool. To carry it out, prepare various pebbles in advance ( or any other items), the color of which will match the color of the bottom. Then you throw all these “treasures” into the pool. Each participant is given a mask and time ( for example, 30 seconds), for which he dives into the pool and tries to find as many “treasures” as possible. After the time has expired, the next participant begins the test. In the end, the participant who collects the most pebbles in the allotted time wins.

Entertainment "Detective"

They choose one detective, he goes out the door, supposedly so that the rest will make a word. At this time, the presenter explains that those remaining must answer the detective’s question “yes” if the question ends with a vowel, “no” if it ends with a consonant, and “maybe” if the question ends with ь. then they bring in a detective, he starts asking questions, trying to guess the word, and the rest answer pre-set questions. The entertainment can continue until it gets boring or until the detective realizes that he is being fooled.

Competition "Recipes"

This competition is for real housewives. The presenter explains that not so long ago, in order for a girl to be married, her parents had to take care not only of the dowry and chastity of the future bride, but also that she knew how to cook hearty borscht and sweet porridge. Several girls are selected to participate in the competition. Each of them needs to remember and write down the classic recipe for making borscht and oatmeal. After a minute, the presenter reads out the recipes. The winner is chosen by the audience.

Competition “Check your intuition”

For this competition you will need two sheets, two candles and milk. Take the sheets in advance and, using milk as ink, write a riddle on each sheet with a brush ( the riddle may be the same). Now about the competition itself. You choose two participants who are confident in their intuition and ingenuity. Place a candle, matches and a sheet of paper with a riddle in front of them, while explaining that there is a riddle in front of them on the sheet (they don’t know about milk, so they see a completely white sheet), and they need to guess how it can be read and solved. In fact, to read your riddle written in milk, you need to light a candle with matches and hold a piece of paper with the riddle over it - the milk begins to burn out and appear chocolate-colored, but the participants must “reach” the answer themselves. The first one to give the correct answer to the riddle wins.

Entertainment "Hobby"

Three guys are selected from the audience; it is advisable that they be non-offensive young men. The presenter says that they will be asked questions about their hobbies, and they must answer these questions without revealing what their actual hobby is. The guys then head out the door, ostensibly to let the rest of the crowd come up with questions. But in fact, this competition is a joke, the host offers to introduce everyone to the fact that these guys’ hobby is kissing. Then the presenter calls the guys. They are asked the following questions: Where did you learn your hobby? Who taught you this? How much time do you devote to pursuing your hobbies? What sounds are present when you practice your hobby? Where do you do your hobby? When did you start pursuing your hobby? How do you prepare for your hobby? Considering that everyone except guys will apply the answers to the hobby of kissing, it will be very funny.
