Caucasian birthday greetings. Caucasian Caucasian toasts to the hero of the day

Once upon a time, God allocated everything for man to live
25 years old, and the horse, dog, monkey and everyone else -
He gave all the animals 50 years. The man was offended by
God and went to the animals to ask them to give
give him a part of their lives. And so it happened that
the first 25 years a person lives like a person, the second 25
for years he plows like a horse, for the next 25 years he lives like
dog, well, for the last 25 years people have been laughing at him like
over the monkey.
So let's drink to ____ to live at least another 100 years as a human being!
Happy birthday to you, dear!

The peoples of the Caucasus have such a belief.
If a child is born in a family, then along with him
100 devils are born. When a child turns
year, then one angel appears, and the devils become
one less. And so year after year: the number of angels
grows, and the devils become fewer and fewer.
If a person is 50, this means that he still has
There were only 50 devils, but 50 angels appeared.
Today we have before us a man who is half-
the wine is from devils, half from angels. And with everyone
year the angelic principle will prevail in it
more and more noticeable. I suggest you drink to
birthday boy, in whom the dark and light forces are mutually
very balanced!

There is a Sanskrit prayer: “Give me without-
rebellion to accept the inevitable, courage,
to change what can be changed, and wisely
grow to know this difference." I drink to wisdom
our dear birthday boy who is going through life
neither with your head held high, leaving behind you
good deeds. He walks with his head raised not from
pride, but from the awareness of the rightness of the cause that
mu serves. Health and happiness to you,___
For your wisdom!

There is a legend in the Caucasus: when is a
child, then God kisses him. God will kiss the child
into the mouth, - and a magnificent speaker will grow up, with a kiss -
If you pick it up, you'll grow up to be a jack of all trades... So let's-
let's drink to the birthday boy, because even he himself
God doesn't know where he kissed him!

The mountain peoples of the Caucasus have one good proverb:
"The camel gave birth to a baby camel - I haven't heard
and neighbor. The chicken has laid an egg - it cackles all over
light." Let's raise our glasses to "our
a modest birthday boy who knows his
business, but don’t shout about it to the whole world!

One Eastern sage said: "It's easy to do
so that people know you, but it is truly difficult
know yourself." I want to wish_____
(name) so that he knows himself! This will help him
achieve the noble goal he has set for himself
put. Happy Birthday honey!

Dear hero of the day! I suggest you raise your glasses
and drink so that in a certain number of years we
celebrated your birthday again, and you thanked us
expressed, as Bernard Shaw once did: “You see, I
turned 68 years old. I have two more at my disposal
years of youth, so we must hurry!

One Chinese philosopher said: "A dream is
not something that already exists, but also not something that cannot
be. It's like on earth: there is no road, but people will pass by,
will pave the way." So let's drink to
the birthday boy laid his unique path on earth
the road - the road of your dreams!

May there be so much grief and sadness in your life,
how many drops of wine will remain in this glass after
how I will drink to your happiness!

What does a young guy need? Win and be
we win with beautiful women. Live
happily. Let your heart be open to
love, and the soul - for beauty. Do not forget,
that there are blue skies, rivers, forests, books, art
tsvestvo and other joys of the spirit.
Happy birthday!

I traveled a lot to mountain villages, and for years I collected what I heard into my heartfelt treasures. Of course, the toasts collected in this book are ancient, they do not reflect the modern life of the peoples of Dagestan, but they carry the moral ancient wisdom of people, passed on from mouth to mouth, from generation to generation. This edition includes many new toasts, mainly about love and women, because quite a few times after the publication of the first edition of toasts I had to attend weddings, where now women sit next to men at the same table and not only listen to wonderful speeches addressed to to them, but they themselves speak such wisdom that experienced speakers listen to them with admiration. And I also considered it appropriate to include two poems in the book - “The Eighteenth Spring” and “Eagles Fly from the Mountains”, dedicated to specific individuals, sons of the mountains, who seemed to personify in life courage and devotion to the Motherland, to which mountain wisdom has always called them. Toasts, parables, and parting verses are translated into Russian in rhymed verse. It seems important to me that Vladimir Turkin, translating Avar texts, preserved in them, on the one hand, a high style of solemnity, and on the other, free speech, conversational intonations characteristic of these toasts and parables, did not “academicize” them, but gave them character some linguistic commonality and simplicity, since they are taken from oral use.

A series: Literary Dagestan

The given introductory fragment of the book Dagestan parables and toasts (F. G. Alieva, 1979) provided by our book partner - the company liters.

Dear readers!

Perhaps many of you have been to mountain weddings, danced lezginka, tasted delicious mountain dishes, heard people compete in wit and wisdom at the table, and drank wine from huge, pointed bull horns.

A mountain wedding is not only a place where people gather to congratulate the newlyweds and have fun. This is at the same time a meeting where people, pronouncing toasts, try to show off their eloquence and wisdom. There are different toasts, their strength lies in brevity and clarity, so immediately, raising the first glass and opening the wedding feast, the toastmaster almost always makes it clear that one must speak briefly and intelligently. But you yourself should not shorten your speech too much. The toastmaster is the most responsible person at the wedding. He must see everything and hear everything and at the same time not forget to make hearty toasts. The toastmaster makes sure that no “crack” appears and no quarrel breaks out. He carefully directs the river of verbosity to its banks. Joy flows into the heart of a sad person.

Until the toastmaster himself raises the first toast, no one has the right to taste the wine. Everyone is waiting for the toastmaster's sign. The toastmaster has a bull's horn in his hands. But the toastmaster is usually in no hurry; he starts from afar:

“Here, friends, I have a bull’s horn in my hands. They used to say that the earth stood leaning on it. If you think carefully, this is true: wasn’t it with the labor of an ox that our ancestors plowed the land, and the land gave us the power of life - bread. And the world runs on bread.

The bull, probably, more than once rebuffed the enemy with this horn; more than once, rejoicing at his work, he dug with this horn into the fresh earth he carried. Now I hold it in my hands, it is filled with red wine, it contains the juice of the earth and the heat of the sun. I want each of you, holding the horn in your hands, to feel as if the earth was resting on it and as if any mistake by each of us would cause the earth to lose its balance. So, friends, we are responsible not only for the wedding table, but for the whole world.”

The first toasts are almost always the shortest, but purposeful, like an arrow fired after a long and well-aimed aim. And as the glasses are emptied, a desire for verbosity appears. Some manage to diversify their toasts, usually by telling some parable before the toast, others, having listened to so much wisdom from the lips of others, feel powerless and make the shortest toast: “To what has been said!”

A feast in the mountains happens not only on the occasion of a son’s wedding, but also on his birthday, and on the day when he sets out on his own without the accompaniment of his elders, and on the day when he goes to work for the first time.

And my daughter’s birthday was considered unlucky. Therefore, there were no toasts on the occasion of the birth of my daughter. But when the daughter went to someone else’s house, the oldest women and relatives gathered and wished her well-being over a dish of halva. Previously, someone else’s house was considered a “hot brazier” for the bride. Their daughter was judged by her parents on how patient, hardworking, submissive, and devoted she was; moreover, if she showed herself on the bad side, this would cast a shadow on her unmarried sisters, and they remained girls for a long time. If the older sister immediately knew how to show herself to be hardworking and patient, then the fates of the younger sisters were better.

Accompanying her daughter to someone else’s house, her mother said to her:

“If you have to swallow a branchy tree in your husband’s house, swallow it so that even your mother-in-law won’t see the tears in your eyes. If you have to drink the river in one sip, drink it so that your husband doesn’t even hear your groan.” The modern reader may find the motives of uncomplaining obedience, humiliating submission, and even servility to her husband, which sound in parting words to daughter-brides, too intrusive. But what can you do? It was so - because I take these toasts from earlier times.

Nowadays, of course, the fate of women and girls-daughters in Dagestan has changed beyond recognition. Women have become a great social force in our republic. Young people are now uniting their lives out of mutual love, newlyweds feel equal in marriage, Komsomol weddings are increasingly heard in Dagestan, in its villages.

I really love mountain weddings, not only because I love to dance, but because all the wisdom of people is mobilized here. I love these beautiful and wise rituals. When the bride enters the groom’s house, his mother meets her and, on the threshold, puts a full spoon of bee honey in her mouth:

"Let you in our house

It will be just as sweet all my life,

how sweet this honey is.

And the desire to work

You will have the same thing as bees in summer.”

Girlfriends bring the bride to the groom, one holds a mirror in her hands, the other a lit torch; reflected in the mirror, it glows like the sun. The third carries a jug filled with water in her hands and says: “Take the sun, fire and water into your home.” The bride's face is covered with a white silk scarf - gurmendo (veil).

The day after the wedding night, the groom's closest friend, according to custom, reveals her face, lifting the gurmendo from her face, and at the same time gives her gifts and makes a toast.

On the third day, relatives and friends gather again. The bride is given the “heart of the house” - she is brought to the hearth, she must light a fire in the hearth for the first time in her husband’s house, the husband’s mother gives her a gift: either throws a carpet near the hearth at her feet, or hands her a new large copper pan. Everyone present tastes the dish prepared by the bride and makes toasts, joking that they have never tried such a dish.

On the fifth day, the husband's mother gathers all her daughter-in-law's friends. They must accompany her for the first time from her husband's house by water. They are all festively dressed, and all the villagers come out to look at them. Great importance is attached to this. The groom's mother prepares and distributes halva, the men gather in the house again, and a jug full of water that the bride brought is passed from hand to hand and everyone drinks and says their wish.

Taking on the position of toastmaster

At this wedding table,

I drink to your home

He was famous for peace and labor, -

For the happiness and fun in it.

My glass is filled with wine,

It is like the juice of the Earth.

Like a sun.

Dissolved in it

Miracle grain

Transfiguration.

Having drunk it,

Let it be at that very moment

Will appear young among us.

And the one who is young at this hour,

Let him be as wise as an elder.

For nice girls

This moisture is golden

Let it turn into beauty.

Let men have more will

And he tells us to be brave.

Let it be all your pain

And he will heal all illnesses.

And if you are tired in your soul,

A sip of wine is enough

To relieve fatigue.

It's just a memory.

And if we have evil in our hearts,

Our dear birthday boy!
We consulted and decided to give you a young eagle.
"Why?" - you ask. And because eagles live up to a hundred years,
and he is as dear to us as you are. We're sure when he gets old
and die, you will still be healthy and strong, and you will be able to honor
bury him high in the mountains! Let's drink to health!

Congratulations in Caucasian style

One wise man said: a body immersed in a liquid is acted upon by a buoyant force that is numerically equal to the weight of the displaced liquid. I want to drink a glass of this wonderful wine so that it is not affected by the buoyant force!

Caucasian Birthday Wishes

One day, young horsemen came to the old aksakal and asked: tell me, loaf, why are you so old and healthy, and we are so young and everything hurts? The old aksakal looked at the young people, thought and died. So let's drink to the health of the young!

A venerable Georgian prince once sneezed

Once a venerable Georgian prince sneezed, and the servant said hastily:
- A thousand years of health!
- Tsits! - the gentleman shouted, - Why do you wish the impossible for me?
- Then live one hundred and twenty years.
- Tsits! - the prince became angry again.
- Then at least a hundred!
- I didn’t please you again!
- Eighty?
- All wrong!

The servant lost patience and said:
- Yes, if it were my will, then die now!

I suggest we raise our glasses so that we can live as long as we want!

Caucasian Happy Birthday Greetings

One respectable citizen argued with his friends that he had the most faithful wife in the world and that the Bzyb River would sooner turn its waters back than his wife would cheat on him. The great magician and wizard Suren heard this argument, grinned and said:
- If your wife cheats on you even once, then you will grow real horns, like a ram.

We decided on this. Some time passed, the friends of the respectable citizen realized where he had disappeared to. They looked for him and he was nowhere to be found. Just some strange ram running around the village and bleating. The city citizen, it turns out, not only grew horns, but also wool and hooves, and he turned into a ram, so many times his wife cheated on him.

Let's raise our glasses, friends, so that we never become sheep.

It is noted by ancient eastern wisdom

Ancient eastern wisdom notes:
“It is more pleasant for one father to feed ten children than for one father to feed ten children.”
So let's raise our glasses so that your children will never have to feed you!

Many men dream of having a harem

Many men dream of having a harem.
They believe that the more women around them, the more varied and interesting their family life, the more love and affection they receive.
So let's wish that our young man would never want to have a harem, because his wife alone could replace him! For the bride! Bitterly!

On an open outstretched palm

A glass of red wine is placed on an open, outstretched palm and a toast is said: “May there be as much grief and sorrow in your life as there are drops left in this glass after we drink it!”

A certain king was crooked

A certain king was crooked. A skilled painter was with him. For some reason the monarch disliked him and was looking for a reason to find fault. “Paint my portrait, but such that it looks exactly like me,” he once ordered the artist. “So my end has come,” the artist thought sadly. “If I draw him crooked, he will execute me.” If I portray him as seeing, he will say:
"Does not look like it! ”, - and he will also cut off his head.”
An acute situation gives rise to resourcefulness. The artist painted a deer, and next to him was a king with a gun in his hands, one eye, blind, closed, as if the king was taking aim. In this form he presented the portrait to the sovereign.
He could not find fault with the painter, and his life was saved.
This toast is for the talented and resourceful

Wish in Caucasian

In the other world, in the paradise of the soul, they sit at the table, talk, have a snack, and drink. One overturned his jug, but it was empty. “Everyone,” he said, “they forgot me on Earth.”
So let's drink so that the jugs of our departed loved ones will not be empty!

In addition to beautiful lyrical congratulations and wishes in poetry and prose, the anniversary feast is greatly decorated with appropriately told table anecdotes, Caucasian toasts and parables. The toastmaster or guest who wants to make a beautiful toast to the birthday woman when choosing the main direction of the congratulation: emphasizing her personal merits or just a joke to cheer everyone up - should be guided by the character of the hero of the occasion.

Offered to Caucasian toasts, parables, jokes for a woman’s anniversary: lyrical and comic - more suitable for a friendly feast on the occasion of a holiday with a friendly and mature lady.

1. Caucasian toast for the anniversary “To a real woman!”

I think everyone will agree with me that our dear hero of the day is a real woman! Listen to the definition given to real women by true connoisseurs. They say that if God wanted to create a woman who would be superior to a man, he would create her from a piece of his head. If God wanted to make her a man's slave, he would have created her from a leg. But since woman was created from Adam’s rib, God conceived her to be equal to man, that is, he wanted her to be his friend and advisor. So let's drink to a real woman and a true friend ….(Name)!

2. Caucasian toast to the hero of the day "Age of the Goddess"

In the Caucasus, it is believed that a woman's life can be divided into seven stages: baby, girl, girl, beautiful woman, blooming woman, stunning woman and goddess. Looking at our hero of the day, any Caucasian sage would say that she is a goddess not by age, but by definition! So let our birthday girl always be a goddess in the eyes of men!

3. Parable for a woman's anniversary "About age."

One young man really wanted to get married. The family searched for a candidate for a long time, and finally the family found him the best woman, as it seemed to them. But the young man said that he would ask only one question about this woman: how old is she? The relatives replied that they had asked her, but the lady replied that she had forgotten how old she was. “It’s clear,” answered the newly made groom, “this woman is over forty, because all women over forty somehow suddenly forget their age!” And the sage answered him: “A wise woman forgets her age because a real man doesn’t need to know it, the main thing is not how old she is, but how old she feels!” So let's drink to our hero of the day, forever young at heart!

4. Parable "Don't drink raw water"

A woman is the wisest creature on earth. She is so wise that any hundred-year-old snake could envy her intelligence. Let me tell you a parable about one of these women, who from the very beginning of her marriage told her husband not to drink raw water. But he continued, and then one day a misfortune happened to him on the river, he began to drown. A husband chokes in the river and blows bubbles, and his wise wife wails on the shore: “I told you: don’t drink raw water, it’s a disaster!” Let's drink: to women's wisdom, and to the fact that we will never have to drink water while there is wine!

5. Parable on a woman’s anniversary “About what can and cannot be forgotten”

Old people in the Caucasus tell the following story: a thousand years ago, one old and very wise prince ruled their region; for his justice and intelligence, God gave him a wonderful son - handsome, healthy, and dexterous. His noble name was George, but George had one drawback - he quickly forgot everything that happened to him.

The prince wanted to marry George, but the young man forgot any girl within five minutes, no matter how beautiful she was. The prince was very sad that he couldn’t get his son married, but he so wanted to see and nurse his grandchildren! Then George decided to travel around the world until he found a girl whom he would remember under any circumstances. On the way, the prince gave his son an elegant necklace with the words: “When you, my son, find a woman and love her, give her this necklace. And then you will be able to remember her, no matter what happens!”

For a long time Georgy wandered around the world, but he still couldn’t find the girl to whom he wanted to give the necklace. And then, completely desperate, ragged and hungry, he reached a village unknown to him. There was a small house on the edge of the village. A very pretty girl came out of it, seeing the exhausted stranger, she ran home and brought him wine and fresh pie. George was surprised, because the girl could have just given him water and bread. He started talking to the young stranger and realized that the girl was also smart. Then, without thinking twice, George took out and gave the girl a necklace: “Come to my principality if you decide to marry me. But be sure to keep the necklace - I can recognize you by it!”

The girl spent exactly three months thinking about marriage and decided that she couldn’t find a better husband. She went to Georgy, but on the way she lost her necklace, so Georgy didn’t recognize the girl he once liked so much. But the young beauty was not afraid: she just took out her wine, which she had taken with her, and baked a pie, which she had once treated George to. And the young man remembered the girl! I remembered her kindness and smart speeches. They, of course, got married and lived happily ever after! And I propose to drink to the hostess of our celebration, who today treats us to such delicious dishes that we can forget everything in the world!

6. A beautiful toast about the hero of the day .

A woman is a light cloud that brings coolness on a hot day. A woman is a bright sun that warms us in days of melancholy and sadness. A woman is a cool stream that gives us strength to continue our difficult path. A woman is a full-flowing river, bringing life to everyone who finds herself near its banks. Let's drink to our birthday girl, who illuminates us with her light, warms us with the warmth of her soul and gave life and raised beautiful children! Long life to you...!

7. Toast "For the strength of the weaker sex!"

Everyone says that women are the “weaker sex”. But this is an absolute delusion, because any of them has exorbitant power: it can destroy a man’s life forever by rejecting his love. And vice versa, accepting his feelings will make a man the happiest person in the world. And a happy man can move mountains!

Let's drink to women who are capable of loving and inspiring, to the strength of the weaker sex!

8. Comic toast for a young active birthday girl.

A Georgian takes the exam to obtain a driver's license. The inspector explains the traffic situation:
- You are driving in a car along a narrow road. On the left is the high-high mountain. On the right is a steep, steep abbreviation. Suddenly there is a beautiful girl on the road. And next to her is a terrible, terrible old woman. Who are you going to push?
- Of course, the old woman!
- Uh... Fool!.. You need to apply the brake!
So let's drink so that in a difficult situation we don't forget to hit the brakes!

High in the mountains, where the sky embraces the mountain peaks, lived a great sage. His wisdom was so great and known that the most important leaders of the surrounding tribes came to consult with him and they were never disappointed in his advice. But then one day, a big disaster came to one of the surrounding villages; domestic animals began to die. And no one could understand the reason for this misfortune. And then the elders decided to turn to the sage for help. The sage listened to them and said: “You, dear ones, need to go to the vet!” So let's drink to everyone minding their own business and if you have a problem, contact a specialist! Here's to the experts in their field!

The father is angry with his son, who does not know verb conjugations at all:
- Well, think carefully, if I tell you: I love them, you love them, he loves them, we love them... Explain to me what this is?
- This is a brothel, dad.
Let's drink so that your son not only understands grammar, but can always distinguish a good woman from a bad one!

One day a horseman found himself in the company of two charming women. And one of them had hair blacker than a raven's wing, and the other had hair the color of an ear of wheat.
Dzhigit was fascinated by his friends. And they did everything to ensure that his interest in them did not wane. But one of the women asked the horseman:
- Do you prefer brunettes or blondes?
- Yes! - answered the horseman.
Why did he answer that way? Yes because he is a real man.
So let's drink to the wonderful qualities of real men!

There lived a man in the world, his name was Vano. He had everything one could dream of. He had three cars, four apartments, two dachas. His wife wore furs, and her jewelry could be the envy of any princess.
So let’s drink not to Vano’s wealth, but to his law-abiding nature, because he even paid taxes on bribes! Let's drink so that each of us can be honest and law-abiding!

The jackal came to the lion and said:
- Let's fight!
Leo didn't pay any attention to him. Then the jackal threatened:
“I’ll go now and tell everyone that the lion was terribly afraid of me.”
The king of beasts winced.
- Let the inhabitants of the desert condemn me for cowardice - it’s still more pleasant than they will despise me for a fight with a jackal.
I dedicate this toast so that we do not humiliate ourselves in front of types who are dirty and unworthy of us.

The Caucasus is said to have the most centenarians. Scientists blame everything on the mountain air, but I think it’s something else. You cannot survive in the mountains without respect: for elders, for nature, for the Motherland. A person who has respect is not ashamed to walk the earth even for 100 years. So let’s drink to living life not just long, but also with dignity!

Caucasian wisdom says: “He who has a beautiful wife is no longer poor. He who has an intelligent wife is rich. He who has a beautiful, intelligent and economic wife is truly rich.”
So let's drink to the true wealth of our friend!

Many people often use tricks. Cunning in such people develops due to some lack of intelligence. As you know, it is better to have intelligence than cunning.
Let's drink to being called not cunning, but smart opponents.

We are now sitting at this festive table, treating ourselves to various dishes, drinking fine wine, and beautiful women next to us.
I want us to raise our glasses so that each of us has the opportunity to relax and celebrate at such tables bursting with abundance for as long as possible! May our beloved women always be with us! So that with our intelligence and skill we can provide them with all the riches that can be showered on such wonderful creatures!

There is a custom in the Caucasus: when a girl is born in the house, the father takes out a gun and shoots once. When a girl grows up and they want to marry her off, the father shoots the gun twice, but when the girl is married off, the father shoots the gun three times. So let's drink to the sound of gunfire coming from our homes more often!

One day a young man came to the sage. He asked the sage what happiness is. The sage thought a little and said:
— Happiness is an elastic concept, for a mother happiness is a baby, for a merchant it is a new horse. Everyone chooses for themselves what happiness means to them. So think about what you crave and what you love. So let’s drink to each of us realizing our own happiness.

In the foothills of the Caucasus lived a huge pack of wolves. The leader of the pack, of course, was the most experienced, but he was very old. He could no longer lead the pack on the hunt. And so the old leader chose a young strong wolf as his assistant.
One day the flock returned from hunting. The wolves gathered for advice. And everyone began to boast about their spoils. There were many successful hunters among the wolves that day. Many sheep and rams were torn apart by wolves that day. And seven shepherds guarding the flock died that day.
After that day, the pack went hunting several times, but the wolves no longer had such prey. And once again the flock gathered to hunt. The old leader did not go with his flock this time either. She followed the young wolf.
They did not appear for a long time: in the sky the moon replaced the sun four times. And then, finally, a young wolf appeared. He was all wounded and bleeding. The old leader realized that something had happened to his flock... The young wolf, with the last of his strength, said that they had killed many sheep, rams and bulls. Their hunt was successful. But the wolves decided to attack two people. They killed the whole flock. The leader's surprise knew no bounds:
- How could this happen? There was a time: you coped with seven shepherds, but this time you couldn’t kill two.
- Yes, it is true. Yes, only these two turned out to be true friends. Each wanted to save the other’s life so much that together they defeated a pack of wolves.
Let's raise our glasses to true male friendship!

The mountains are a great way to stay young. Those days spent with guests are not taken into account when calculating the years lived. I propose a toast to you, dear guests, for your spiritual generosity, because today, without knowing it, you extended my life!

In one village lost high in the mountains lived a poor shepherd named Kakha. He grew up an orphan and, in order not to die of hunger, tended sheep from early childhood. Despite adversity, he lived cheerfully and was not angry at fate. He always had a piece of bread and wine, and he needed nothing more.
He was very kind and more than once helped kind people out of difficult situations. For this, everyone loved and respected him. After every good deed, people remembered his poor parents and wondered how he remained kind and honest after such a blow of fate. But the young man did not pay any attention to these conversations. He was interested in something else. Since childhood, he dreamed of going to the city and helping people there. Sometimes he went on a long journey that led to other villages and big cities. He managed to visit different cities, different villages and villages, but always returned to his native mountains. Why was he returning? Because only in his native land could he gain experience and become wiser. He decided that until he learned as much as possible about the world, there was no point in talking about a longer journey.
Finally, the long-awaited moment arrived and he set off on a long journey. He wandered for a long time, and then fate brought him to one majestic city. Here he decided to stop and continue to do good and give people joy. He lived like this for some time. One fine day he heard that the ruler of this city announced that various tournaments would be organized, the purpose of which was to identify the most dexterous, most intelligent and strongest man. The only winner will be rewarded with the daughter of a great ruler and enormous wealth.
There were legends about the beauty of the ruler's daughter, but few were lucky enough to see her in person. And Kakha decided to look at her with his own eyes. Arriving at the appointed hour at the central square, he squeezed closer to the government tent and saw the beauty. Kakha could not take his eyes off her for a long time. He decided to participate in the competition. Many horsemen were full of the same determination. Among them were fighters known for their agility and strength, but Kakha was not at all embarrassed by this. On the contrary, he was confident in his abilities.
Everyone who wanted to participate in the competition gathered. The rules and conditions were announced to them. The competition has begun.
Gradually the ranks of daredevils thinned out, but Kakha overcame obstacles and remained among the contenders. Finally, there were only two horsemen left, one of whom was Kakha. The second was enormous in stature and possessed superhuman strength. Anyone in Kakha’s place would have thought: “Am I taking part in competitions in vain?” But nothing like that occurred to Kakha. He was confident in his abilities. Of course, he understood that it would be very difficult for him to win, but that did not stop him.
As a result, Kakha defeated the enemy and received the promised riches and the ruler’s daughter.
Dear friends! Let's raise a glass to self-confidence! And may our sons be as persistent and self-confident horsemen as Kakha!
