Bachelor party group. History of the group stag party stag party night year

The group “Malchishnik”, which burst onto the music scene in the early 90s, amazed the audience with its courage. In their songs, rap artists openly talked about their adventures and did not hesitate to raise intimate topics. Liberated young people gathered full stadiums at concerts, shouting in unison with the “Bachelor Party” that “sex is nice.”

History of creation and composition

Initially, the group "Malchishnik", which became famous for its explicit repertoire, was an average boy band creating music in the rap style. The group consisted of seven young people (later reduced to five), whose duties included pretending to sing to soundtracks recorded by other people.

The authors and performers of the group's songs were Andrey Kotov (Dan) and Pavel Galkin (Mutabor). After the first attempts to record the band’s music in a professional studio, the young people realized that the tandem was missing one more performer.

Dan and Mutabor, who hung out in the same street party, without hesitation, invited Dolphin to join the duo. At that time, the artist had already become famous in professional circles as an excellent rap artist and poet. After looking at the work of the resulting trio, the group’s producer, Alexey Adamov, suggested that the “Bachelor Party” participants come out of hiding and perform on stage themselves.

Music

The reformed team announced itself with the song “Sex without a break,” which later became a vivid symbol of the initial period in the history of Russian rap. The words of the provocative composition were invented by Dolphin when “Bachelor Party” was returning from a breakdance festival. Through the incredible efforts of the producer, the song was broadcast on television and immediately caused a scandal.

The older generation found the lyrics of the hit too vulgar, and complaints began pouring into TV channels. After this incident, they did not want to broadcast the “Bachelor Party” group for a long time, even with edited creations.

A year later, the debut album “Let's Talk About Sex” appeared on the shelves of music outlets. In addition to the already sensational song “Sex without a break,” the cassette included “I want you,” “I won’t be with you,” and other compositions. A video was created for the track “Night”.

Group "Bachelor Party" - "Night"

In 1993, “Bachelor Party” released a new album, “Miss Big Breasts,” a kind of relaunch of the debut cassette with new additional compositions. The song “The Last Time” was presented on music channels with a video clip. During recording, changes occur in the composition of “Bachelor Party”. Dan, who had a long-pending conflict with the producer, leaves the team.

A new participant takes the place of one of the soloists - Oleg Bashkatov (Olen). The young man is brought by Dolphin, who is well acquainted with the musician thanks to their joint work on the “Oak Gaai” project.

Bachelor Party" and Dolphin - "The Last Time"

Despite the replacement in the team, the interest of fans in “Bachelor Party” does not wane. The presentation of the new album is delayed for a week - the musicians have to give additional concerts, since the venues simply cannot accommodate everyone who is eager to hear new songs by young provocateurs. Fans of the team especially liked “Mike Tyson” and “Pornography”.

Group "Bachelor Party" - "Mike Tyson"

The original lineup reunited in 1994 to create another album, Skittles, on which he had a hand. The young people jointly recorded the song “Extreme” and a remix of the song “Only Once You Were With Her.” Later, the musicians worked together on the video “Vote or Lose,” which was created as part of the election campaign. The future president, in addition to rappers and a DJ, was then supported by many famous musical groups and performers - groups, and others.

"Bachelor Party" - "Vote or Lose"

The popularity of the group was confirmed by the fact that parodies were created of their songs. In the humorous show “Oba-Na!” a sketch appeared on the topic of how the group would perform 50 years later. The song “Sex without a break” was parodied by the children’s group “Fidgets”. The young man acted as a soloist. Years later, the residents of the Comedy Club were pleased with a parody of the song “I want you.”

The cover of the disc was decorated with a provocative photo and an inscription warning about obscene language in the songs. Such a statement fueled public interest and complicated the group’s relationship with television and radio stations.

Two years after the release of the album, the musicians decided that it was better to disband “Bachelor Party”. The group no longer met the ambitions and interests of young people. A tragic event occurred in the history of the team - Oleg Bashkatov died of cardiac arrest.

According to the official version, death was caused by a drug overdose. Dolphin decided that it was worth devoting more time to his own creativity, and Dan and Mutabor created a new project specializing in electronic music. At the same time, Dan and Groove participate in the organization of the Storm Crew association, which united the best Russian DJs and electronic music performers at that time.

In 2000, “Bachelor Party” proclaims its reunion. But Dolphin, whose solo career took off, decided to leave the musical group in the past. Now the provocative group has become a duo.

In 2001, Dan and Mutabor released a new album called “Sandals”. The musicians decided not to deviate from the previously chosen style and created provocative creations, the lyrics of which are based on sex and risky adventures. The composition “Wow!” aroused particular interest among fans.

Following “Sandals,” the team releases the collection “Shafts.” This time, the musicians are moving away from the usual techniques and adding musical inserts of house and other musical genres to rap compositions. Between recording new tracks, “Malchishnik” gives solo concerts in different cities of Russia, most of which are held in front of a full house.

"Bachelor Party" - "Wow"

In 2004, the musicians delighted fans with the album “Foam”. According to critics, the collection turned out to be less provocative and more lyrical. Such changes did not harm the team, but also did not cause the excitement that accompanied the previous creations of “Bachelor Party”.

The vocalists of "Malchishnik" unexpectedly announced the dissolution of the group

Two years later, unexpectedly for fans, the musicians announced the cessation of activity. As a parting gift, Dan and Mutabor presented the disc – the eighth work in the group’s discography – the album “Weekend”, after the release of which they organized a solo tour of major cities in Russia and the CIS. Subsequently, the artists gave performances only privately upon request.

However, the media were not going to leave the “pioneers” of Russian rap alone. Musicians become guests of programs on NTV channels (in the Maximum Program), A1, O2TV, MTV and MuzTV. On the radio, the soloists of the musical group gave an interview to the famous. In 2008, a documentary dedicated to the group “Malchishnik” was released on the TNT channel.

In 2011, the name of one track by the group “Malchishnik” was included in the list of extremist materials prohibited for use in Russia. By decision of the Samara District Court, the song “Sex Control” from the 1992 album “Miss Big Breasts” was banned. The text of the musical composition touches on the issue of the ban on sexual communication between representatives of different races.

The members of the team preferred not to advertise the facts of their own biography, with the exception of Dolphin. Alexey is happily married, he has a daughter, Eva, and a son, Miron. It is known about Mutabor that he also has two children. At one time, the musician was seen accompanied by a companion named Maria. Dan called himself a bird of free flight.

"Bachelor Party" now

However, the breakup of the group was not the final point for the musicians. In 2018, “Bachelor Party” continues to delight the audience with the performance of already familiar songs. Artists announce their own performances on the group’s official account on

Biography, life story of the group "Bachelor Party"

brief information

The history of the group "Malchishnik" began in the nineties. Its participants met in Moscow on Arbat - they were fond of “street” culture: breakdancing, rap, and organized street performances and competitions. At that time, no one thought of translating popular rap in North America with uncompromising lyrics about sex into Russian - the topic itself was then, if not banned, then under the control of internal censorship of TV and radio. The “bachelor party” literally shook the foundations - in a matter of weeks, a sex tornado blew away the roof of the entire Russia of the “transition period”. Recording albums, continuous touring, popularity, censorship and, finally, the underground.

Here's how it was in detail

In 1991, the ZeCo company released the group's first album on compact cassettes and vinyl, Let's Talk About Sex, which became a bestseller. Thanks to the vacuum in the country's audio market, thanks to the novelty and uniqueness of the arrangements, the first album of "Bachelor Party" was a tremendous success. In the same year, changes took place within the group: a new person came to the company of Pavel Galkin - Mutabor and Andrei Kotov - Dan, with the help of whom the group finally formed the concept: shocking rap, adapted for the Russian listener.

The composition “Sex without a break” is one of the group’s characteristic songs during this period. After its broadcast on Channel One, a scandal broke out, as a result of which the production editor of the 50/50 program was fired. From this moment on, the group began to have problems not only with television, but also with radio and the press. In order to take part in the TV show "Muzoboz's Playground", Den and Mutabor had to urgently record a phonogram in one night that could be approved by television censorship. It was the song "Dancing".

In 1992, the RDM company released the first CD of the group “Miss Big Breasts” with the hits “Breasts, Breasts”, “Last Time”, “Pornography” included in it. The sold-out crowds are starting – regardless of the size of the concert venues. So, in Moscow, at the presentation of this album, the universal sports hall “Druzhba” could not accommodate everyone, it was necessary to organize additional concerts, and in St. Petersburg the Ice Palace was packed with people for a week!

CONTINUED BELOW

In 1992-1993, Oleg Bashkatov (Olen) sang in the group instead of Andrei Kotov. The voice of this artist can be heard in the compositions “Sex Control” and “Pornography”. Oleg Bashkatov died in 1996 - he died of a heart attack caused by excessive drug use.

In the fall of 1994, "Bachelor Party" releases an album called "Skittles." In it, the concept of the group remains basically the same, with the only difference being that the texts become even harsher - the discs are issued with a “Profanity” warning. These changes, despite the rhythm and some pop nature of the music, strengthened the scandalous fame of the group, exacerbating the already difficult relationship with the media, plunging “Bachelor Party” into an even greater underground.

In the same year, while working on the next album, the musicians decided to close the group, as the project became too small for the implementation of their plans. delved into a solo project, using music from the latest unpublished works of "Bachelor Party" in his launch album "Out of Focus", and Dan and Mutabor are organizing the project "" of hard alternative electronic music. In the period 1996-2005. As part of the "" project, she released seven albums and several life shows, gaining popularity among electronic music fans throughout the country and abroad.

Since 2000, the history of the group - "living nostalgia" - continues, but as a studio project. "Bachelor Party" in the tandem "Dan - Mutabor" - the original composition of the group - releases the album "Sandals", which, thanks to the distribution of "Classic Company", is distributed throughout the CIS. Fans of the band could breathe easy, because the crazy, incendiary songs returned to their music libraries, updated and more interesting. The album attracted not only old fans of creativity, but also began to gather a new army of admirers. Meanwhile, the information boycott of the group continues. New songs are not included in any playlist of any television or radio channel. The album is discussed only on the Internet, but actively, since both the past and present of the group attracts not only long-time fans, but also a modern youth audience.

In 2002, the album "Ogloblya" was released, on which huge changes took place in the manner of performance, the sound of arrangements and the writing of lyrics. The convincing quality of this product is immediately apparent. The album is done simply superbly. An unusual combination of vocals, lyrics and music can lead to only one conclusion: the guys are real professionals, and their years of work have not been in vain.

In 2003, "Bachelor Party" performs in St. Petersburg for the first time in almost a ten-year break. The concert takes place at the Ice Palace to a full house. Having performed their best songs, Dan and Mutabor once again confirmed their unique status on the Russian stage, proving that interest in the group has not decreased at all, but quite the opposite - it has only grown. The result is a much better album than Best, released in 1999.

In 2004, an album called “Foam” was released. The album turned out to be a little softer than the previous ones, but nevertheless the number of positive reviews grew exponentially. The combination of humor and heartfelt lyrics, ideally set to excellent musical accompaniment, make the album accessible to listening and understanding to a wider range of listeners.

In 2006, another album was released, which contained only lyrical compositions. We're talking about the Weekend album. This record became the farewell record for "Bachelor Party". In support of Weekend, the guys organized a tour of the cities of Russia, Latvia and Estonia.

“Bachelor Party” had no competitors and does not have any – the niche of hard, informal rap is not occupied (the attempts of some rappers to read the “hard truth of life” can be safely excluded due to dense unprofessionalism and outright mediocrity). Ironic"

An excerpt characterizing the Bachelor Party (group)

On October 6, early in the morning, Pierre left the booth and, returning back, stopped at the door, playing with a long purple dog on short crooked legs that was spinning around him. This little dog lived in their booth, spending the night with Karataev, but sometimes she went somewhere in the city and returned again. It had probably never belonged to anyone, and now it was owned and had no name. The French called her Azor, the soldier storyteller called her Femgalka, Karataev and others called her Gray, sometimes Visly. The fact that she didn’t belong to anyone and that she didn’t have a name or even a breed, or even a specific color, didn’t seem to make things difficult for the purple little dog. Her furry tail stood firmly and roundly up, her crooked legs served her so well that often she, as if neglecting the use of all four legs, gracefully raised one hind leg and very deftly and quickly ran on three legs. Everything was a matter of pleasure for her. Now, squealing with joy, she lay on her back, now she was basking in the sun with a thoughtful and significant look, now she was frolicking, playing with a sliver of wood or a straw.
Pierre's attire now consisted of a dirty, torn shirt, the only remnant of his previous dress, soldier's trousers, tied with strings at the ankles for warmth on Karataev's advice, a caftan and a peasant's hat. Pierre changed a lot physically during this time. He no longer seemed fat, although he still had the same appearance of size and strength that was hereditary to their breed. A beard and mustache have grown over the lower part of the face; the overgrown, tangled hair on his head, filled with lice, now curled up like a cap. The expression in the eyes was firm, calm and animatedly ready, such as Pierre’s gaze had never had before. His former licentiousness, which was also expressed in his gaze, was now replaced by an energetic, ready for activity and rebuff - selectedness. His feet were bare.
Pierre looked either down across the field, through which carts and horsemen were driving around this morning, then into the distance across the river, then at the little dog pretending that it seriously wanted to bite him, then at his bare feet, which he gladly rearranged into different positions, wiggling his dirty, thick, thumbs. And every time he looked at his bare feet, a smile of animation and self-satisfaction crossed his face. The sight of these bare feet reminded him of everything that he had experienced and understood during this time, and this memory was pleasant to him.
The weather had been calm and clear for several days, with light frosts in the mornings - the so-called Indian summer.
It was warm in the air, in the sun, and this warmth, with the invigorating freshness of the morning frost still felt in the air, was especially pleasant.
Everything, both distant and nearby objects, had that magical crystal shine that only happens at this time of autumn. In the distance one could see the Sparrow Hills, with a village, a church and a large white house. And bare trees, and sand, and stones, and roofs of houses, and the green spire of a church, and the corners of a distant white house - all this was unnaturally clearly cut out in the thinnest lines in the transparent air. Nearby could be seen the familiar ruins of a half-burnt manor house, occupied by the French, with dark green lilac bushes growing along the fence. And even this ruined and dirty house, repulsive with its ugliness in cloudy weather, now, in its bright, motionless brilliance, seemed somehow soothingly beautiful.
A French corporal, unbuttoned at home, wearing a cap, with a short pipe in his teeth, came out from around the corner of the booth and, with a friendly wink, approached Pierre.
– Quel soleil, hein, monsieur Kiril? (that’s what all the French called Pierre). On dirait le printemps. [What is the sun like, eh, Mr. Kiril? Just like spring.] - And the corporal leaned against the door and offered Pierre a pipe, despite the fact that he always offered it and Pierre always refused.
“Si l"on marchait par un temps comme celui la... [It would be nice to go on a hike in such weather...],” he began.
Pierre asked him what had been heard about the march, and the corporal said that almost all the troops were marching out and that now there should be an order about the prisoners. In the booth in which Pierre was, one of the soldiers, Sokolov, was dying of illness, and Pierre told the corporal that he needed to dispose of this soldier. The corporal said that Pierre can be calm, that there is a mobile and permanent hospital for this, and that there will be orders for the sick, and that in general everything that can happen has been foreseen by the authorities.
- Et puis, monsieur Kiril, vous n "avez qu" a dire un mot au capitaine, vous savez. Oh, c"est un... qui n"oublie jamais rien. Dites au capitaine quand il fera sa tournee, il fera tout pour vous... [And then, Mr. Kiril, you should say a word to the captain, you know... He’s like that... he doesn’t forget anything. Tell the captain when he makes his rounds; he will do anything for you...]
The captain, about whom the corporal spoke, often talked for a long time with Pierre and showed him all kinds of indulgence.
[Now, I swear by Saint Thomas, he once told me: Kiril is an educated man, speaks French; he is a Russian gentleman, with who had a misfortune, but he is a man. He knows a lot... If he needs something, there is no refusal. When you study something, you love education and well-mannered people. I’m talking about you, Mr. Kiril. The other day, if it weren’t for you, then it would be bad it would be over.]
And, after chatting for a while longer, the corporal left. (The thing that happened the other day, which the corporal mentioned, was a fight between prisoners and the French, in which Pierre managed to pacify his comrades.) Several prisoners listened to Pierre’s conversation with the corporal and immediately began to ask what he said. While Pierre was telling his comrades what the corporal had said about the performance, a thin, yellow and ragged French soldier approached the door of the booth. With a quick and timid movement, raising his fingers to his forehead as a sign of bow, he turned to Pierre and asked him if the soldier Platoche, to whom he had given the shirt to be sewn, was in this booth.
About a week ago, the French received shoe goods and linen and distributed boots and shirts to the captured soldiers to sew.
- Ready, ready, falcon! - Karataev said, coming out with a neatly folded shirt.
Karataev, for the sake of warmth and for the convenience of work, was wearing only trousers and a tattered shirt as black as the earth. His hair was tied with a washcloth, as craftsmen do, and his round face seemed even rounder and prettier.
- A persuader is a brother to the cause. “As I said by Friday, I did so,” said Plato, smiling and unfolding the shirt he had sewn.
The Frenchman looked around uneasily and, as if overcoming doubt, quickly took off his uniform and put on his shirt. Under his uniform the Frenchman did not have a shirt, but on his bare, yellow, thin body he wore a long, greasy, silk vest with flowers. The Frenchman, apparently, was afraid that the prisoners looking at him would laugh, and hastily stuck his head into his shirt. None of the prisoners said a word.
“Look, just right,” Plato said, pulling off his shirt. The Frenchman, sticking his head and hands through, without raising his eyes, looked at his shirt and examined the seam.
- Well, falcon, this is not a trash, and there is no real instrument; “But it’s said: without gear you can’t even kill a lice,” said Plato, smiling roundly and, apparently, rejoicing at his work.
- C "est bien, c" est bien, merci, mais vous devez avoir de la toile de reste? [Okay, okay, thank you, but where is the canvas, what’s left?] - said the Frenchman.
“It will be even better the way you put it on your body,” said Karataev, continuing to rejoice at his work. - That will be good and pleasant.
“Merci, merci, mon vieux, le reste?..” repeated the Frenchman, smiling, and, taking out a banknote, gave it to Karataev, “mais le reste... [Thank you, thank you, dear, but where is the rest?.. Give me the rest. ]
Pierre saw that Plato did not want to understand what the Frenchman was saying, and, without interfering, looked at them. Karataev thanked him for the money and continued to admire his work. The Frenchman insisted on the remainder and asked Pierre to translate what he was saying.
- What does he need the leftovers for? - said Karataev. “They would have given us some important little extras.” Well, God bless him. - And Karataev, with a suddenly changed, sad face, took out a bundle of scraps from his bosom and, without looking at it, handed it to the Frenchman. - Ehma! - Karataev said and went back. The Frenchman looked at the canvas, thought about it, looked questioningly at Pierre, and as if Pierre’s gaze told him something.
“Platoche, dites donc, Platoche,” suddenly blushing, the Frenchman shouted in a squeaky voice. – Gardez pour vous, [Platosh, and Platosh. Take it for yourself.] - he said, handing over the scraps, turned and left.
“Here you go,” Karataev said, shaking his head. - They say that they are not Christ, but they also have a soul. The old men used to say: a sweaty hand is a bit too hard, a dry hand is stubborn. He himself is naked, but he gave it away. – Karataev, smiling thoughtfully and looking at the scraps, was silent for some time. “And the important ones, my friend, will be blown out,” he said and returned to the booth.

Four weeks have passed since Pierre was captured. Despite the fact that the French offered to transfer him from a soldier's booth to an officer's booth, he remained in the booth he entered from the first day.
In devastated and burned Moscow, Pierre experienced almost the extreme limits of hardship that a person can endure; but, thanks to his strong constitution and health, which he had not been aware of until now, and especially due to the fact that these deprivations approached so imperceptibly that it was impossible to say when they began, he endured his situation not only easily, but also joyfully . And it was at this very time that he received that peace and self-satisfaction for which he had vainly strived before. For a long time in his life he was looking from different sides for this peace, agreement with himself, for what struck him so much in the soldiers at the Battle of Borodino - he looked for this in philanthropy, in Freemasonry, in the dispersion of social life, in wine, in heroic deeds self-sacrifice, in romantic love for Natasha; he sought this through thought, and all these searches and attempts all deceived him. And he, without thinking about it, received this peace and this agreement with himself only through the horror of death, through deprivation and through what he understood in Karataev. Those terrible minutes that he experienced during the execution seemed to have washed away forever from his imagination and memories the disturbing thoughts and feelings that had previously seemed important to him. Not even a thought came to him about Russia, or the war, or politics, or Napoleon. It was obvious to him that all this did not concern him, that he was not called and therefore could not judge all this. “No time for Russia, no union,” he repeated Karataev’s words, and these words strangely reassured him. His intention to kill Napoleon and his calculations about the cabalistic number and the beast of the Apocalypse now seemed incomprehensible and even ridiculous to him. His anger against his wife and anxiety about not disgracing his name now seemed to him not only insignificant, but funny. What did he care about the fact that this woman was leading the life she liked somewhere out there? Who, especially him, cared whether they found out or didn’t find out that the name of their prisoner was Count Bezukhov?
Now he often recalled his conversation with Prince Andrei and completely agreed with him, only understanding Prince Andrei’s thought somewhat differently. Prince Andrei thought and said that happiness can only be negative, but he said this with a tinge of bitterness and irony. As if, by saying this, he was expressing another thought - that all the aspirations for positive happiness invested in us are invested only in order to torment us, not satisfying us. But Pierre, without any second thought, recognized the justice of this. The absence of suffering, the satisfaction of needs and, as a result, the freedom to choose occupations, that is, a way of life, now seemed to Pierre to be the undoubted and highest happiness of a person. Here, now only for the first time, Pierre fully appreciated the pleasure of eating when he was hungry, drinking when he was thirsty, sleeping when he was thirsty, warmth when he was cold, talking with a person when he wanted to talk and listen to a human voice. Satisfaction of needs - good food, cleanliness, freedom - now that he was deprived of all this seemed to Pierre to be perfect happiness, and the choice of occupation, that is, life, now that this choice was so limited, seemed to him such an easy matter that he forgot the fact that an excess of the comforts of life destroys all the happiness of satisfying needs, and the greater freedom to choose occupations, the freedom that education, wealth, position in the world gave him in his life, that this freedom makes the choice of occupations insolublely difficult and destroys the very need and opportunity to study.
All Pierre's dreams now aimed at the time when he would be free. Meanwhile, subsequently and throughout his life, Pierre thought and spoke with delight about this month of captivity, about those irrevocable, strong and joyful sensations and, most importantly, about that complete peace of mind, about perfect inner freedom, which he experienced only at this time .

After the collapse of the USSR, a revolution took place in the new Russia, not only democratic, but also sexual. Its most prominent promoter was the group “Malchishnik”. The creator and producer of the group, Alexey Adamov, told Lenta.ru about fabulous fees, thousands of fans, pirated tapes and what it was like to write songs to the roar of tanks, and then campaign for Yeltsin.

“Lenta.ru”: As far as I know the legend of the group, you published the erotic magazine “Bachelor Party” and suddenly decided to form a boy group. Did you want to promote the magazine?

Alexey Adamov: This is not a legend, but an absolutely true story. We started publishing the Bachelor Party magazine, and a little later I came up with the idea of using a group of cool, fashionable guys in an advertising campaign. So one interesting idea grew into an even more interesting project.

By the way, how old were you then?

Oh, I was 22 years old.

Is it true that you found the guys for the group on Arbat by chance?

Pure truth. I specifically walked along Arbat, went down to the metro, rode through central stations, and looked for images. This is how I met the Arbat street dancers Klepa, Rat and Raf. They performed breakdancing cool, looked great, fashionable, cool. Everything went according to plan, even some rehearsals began for advertising, but then an emergency occurred.

Now I don’t remember all the events, but the main dancer Rat died under unknown circumstances, and somehow everything stopped for a couple of months. After some time, Raf introduces me to Dan, who fits one hundred percent into the format of our crazy idea. A little later, Dan suggested using recitative in the advertising campaign, and I really liked this idea.

We started looking for a recording studio, and that’s how Pasha Mutabor appeared in our lives. Talent! The first cast of “Bachelor Party” was formed: Klepa, Den and Raf, and Mutabor was in charge of the entire musical part. With this lineup, we released our debut video for the first single “Night”. It was a bomb! After rotating for two weeks eight times a day on the 2x2 TV channel (Moscow and the region), we could not get into our basement on Ryazansky Prospekt, where rehearsals took place and our office was located, without a fight. My younger brother, who starred in the video for 2-3 seconds as a bartender, had his autographs taken at school. No one expected such success; the unthinkable happened. We forgot about the “Bachelor Party” magazine and threw all our energy into the “Bachelor Party” group.

The first difficulties immediately arose - Raf and Klepa were unable to read the recitative. All voices were written instead by Pasha Mutabor and Den. Initially, we were looking for dancers, but here we had a completely different task. We also had to get the lyrics and music from somewhere. We searched for a long time.

One day Den suggested meeting with a guy, also a dancer, who offered to write lyrics for $10 apiece. We agreed, I remember, to meet in the afternoon in our office. I was about seven or eight hours late, I arrived, I saw this fashionable guy sitting there, all in imported clothes, wearing a cool Miami Dolphins baseball cap. I still remember that his T-shirt had the words Stop Killing Dolphins on it. I ask him: “What is your name?”, He answers: “Dolphin,” and for some reason I laughed. He simply captivated me!

I tell him: “Will you go on tour with us to Belarus for two weeks today?” (at that moment we were still working on “Gaza Strip” at the same time, and we already had our first tour). He says: “I’ll go!” So the coolest of the cool, Andrey Lysikov, aka Dolphin, appeared on our team. After various difficulties, insults and scandals, three or four weeks later we formed a new composition of the “Bachelor Party” group: Den, Dolphin and Mutabor.

As you know, there was no sex in the USSR, and then you shot with the song “Sex without a break.” Which Western groups did you take inspiration from and how did this song come about?

Yes, there was no sex in the USSR, but the “Bachelor Party” group appeared, and it turned out that sex still exists. There was so little information about what was happening in US show business at that time that, without thinking twice, we took as a model the classics of American rap culture, the group Run-D.M.C. and 2 Live Crew. These teams were already dominant in hip-hop in the late 1980s.

The group 2 Live Crew has definitely become a role model for us. Already when the composition and image of our team was fully formed, work began on the debut album and the first composition “Sex without a break.” For a week we sat in the studio around the clock, recorded three songs: “Sex without a break” (without chorus), “Dancing”, “Sister”. They remade “Night”, worked twenty hours a day, but everyone believed that there was no explosive hit yet, although this moment was close.

We couldn't get the chorus to the main song, "Sex without a break." As I remember now, Dolphin and I went out into the street to get some fresh air, we were standing, smoking, and along Gorky Street (where our studio was) tanks were marching in columns towards the city center. We didn’t attach any importance to it, we stood there and thought about the chorus, and came up with it. We were so happy that we even forgot to tell the guys what was happening on the street. Two days later we finished work and when we came out of the basement with our hits, we found ourselves in another country. It was August 1991.

“Sex without a break” was recorded to the sound of tanks, but what was the group doing in October 1993, when Yeltsin “pacified” the Supreme Soviet?

I remember it very well. Dolphin had a birthday, which they decided to celebrate in Paris. We had already become big stars and could afford it. Yuri Aizenshpis and Vlad Stashevsky also went with us on a “European tour” for a couple of weeks, and when we returned to Moscow, everyone was shocked by what happened. My entire entrance was shelled by stray bullets.

In addition to the lack of morality in the lyrics, the group was attractive with its image. Who invented it?

The group's image was strength! We were the most fashionable at that time. Do you remember what was sold in our stores and cooperative stalls back then? It's scary to watch. All this was brought to us from abroad at exorbitant prices, and if something appeared at a flea market or from speculators, it was immediately brought to us. I remember once a businessman came to us with mega-sneakers, and he only had sizes 45 and 47. What to do? After all, they are so cool. The dolphin, without thinking twice, first puts on his sneakers, and then his sneakers. It was just great! That's how we lived.

The “Bachelor Party” album sold like fresh pies, and there were so many pirated copies in circulation! I bought one myself: on one side is your group, on the other is “High Energy” by Bogdan Titomir. Have you tried to count how many cassettes you sold?

You actually bought a pirated copy; there were no such originals. The sales figures in the country were impossible to report at all, I only know one thing: as soon as the first album was released, we took six hundred thousand covers from our studio for duplication and packaging. Five weeks later they ordered the same amount. Wherever we went, I always bought a cassette with our album in every city, and I was never able to buy an original copy.

Why did “Malchishnik” act as the opening act for the “Gaza Strip” on a tour of the USSR, and not go on tour, for example, with Titomir or Lika MC (Lika Star)?

This is the very first cast of “Bachelor Party”. In principle, at that time I did not see any reasons why this should not be done. “Gaza Strip” was also my project, money was invested in it, and this tour was the very first in my life, as well as that of the “Bachelor Party” group and the “Gaza Strip”.

The duration of the Gaza Strip program was forty minutes, while the Bachelor Party was ten. Later I realized that this was a real disaster, but nothing could have been changed on the tour. As for Bogdan Titomir and Lika MC, they were also just starting out, and like us, they only had a few compositions.

What are your memories of Yuri Klinsky?

Let me put it briefly: it was terrible. The first tour with the Gaza Strip was the last, after these tours I never saw, heard or was interested in them. I did not share their creative line.

It’s hard to believe now, but “Bachelor Party” with the song “Sex Without Interruption” was shown on Channel One. How did you get there?

It was a terrible scandal, but it happened a little later. Our first scandal occurred after the MuzOboz Platform in 1992. The guys from the most popular program on the evening broadcast (at that time) came up with a great idea - they organized a concert venue with filming and broadcasting (a very expensive pleasure). We raised money with the whole world, but it was worth it, it was our springboard into the world of show business.

Bogdan Titomir, Lika MC and Valeria, the most fashionable performers in Moscow at that time, participated with us in this initiative. We specially invited excellent St. Petersburg dancers, who then stayed with us, rehearsed a lot, in general, prepared seriously.

The song “Sex without a break” was cut off for us right away, but “Dancing” was allowed. The concert and filming went well, and two or three weeks later we appeared in the Channel One program. It’s funny to say now - we didn’t sleep at night, everyone was waiting for the show. The X-hour had come, and they started calling me from the far reaches of our homeland, asking about tours, where to buy batches of our tapes, and so on. The broadcast went into orbits: Kamchatka, Chukotka, Magadan, Sakhalin.

We then called probably half of Moscow: friends, relatives, so that no one would miss us. At 23:00 we sat down in front of the TV and waited. Bogdan Titomir opens, Valeria continues, then Lika MC with the song “BBC Taxi”, they announce us, interview us before the performance right on stage and... the broadcast goes off. If you remember, such a grid appears on the screen, and it lasts exactly as long as our song “Dancing” lasts, almost three minutes, after which it disappears and the program “What? Where? When?"

Imagine, the broadcast was turned off for three minutes in our main orbit, in Moscow, Leningrad, and Central Russia. I was in shock, my phone was ringing until five in the morning, everyone was interested in what happened, and I didn’t know what to answer. I couldn’t get through to Ivan Demidov for three days, so I went to Ostankino to look for him and found him. He can’t say anything, he says, it went through all the orbits except for the central one, they were turned off by order of the most important one in the “saucers”.

All in all, a disaster. I was so upset that I didn’t go anywhere for two weeks, I sat at home, because everything was paid for! When I asked for a refund, they answered me with a phrase that I remembered for the rest of my life: “The priest doesn’t have change.” But we must give credit to the VID company, about a couple of months later they broadcast a cut-and-cut version of the “Bachelor Party” performance in the “MuzOboz” program with a special report about the group, worked with us as best they could, and the incident was settled.

Now all this looks funny, but then one broadcast in “MuzOboz”, “50/50” or in “Morning Mail” was enough for a tour for six months. Almost everyone invited us, including the Moscow TV channel “2x2” under the leadership of Sergei Lisovsky. Thank him very much, he supported us in all our endeavors and helped us out very often.

On this scandalous wave, the “50/50” program decided to invite “Bachelor Party” with the song “Sex Without Interruption,” and this was another scandal. After him, the production editor of the program and several bureaucrats of Channel One were fired, and we were honorably blacklisted on all state radio stations and television channels.

Weren't concerts banned?

Only once in Moscow. The RTR television channel invited us to film a concert in Luzhniki at the Druzhba arena. As a joke, in the advertising campaign we announced free entry for the guys, and the hall at that time could accommodate three to four thousand spectators. All tickets were sold, 12-15 thousand people came, spectators began to gather by 15:00.

It was a real disaster! The entire ramp, all the passages, the entire roadway and embankment were simply clogged. Traffic stopped, and just a few minutes' drive from the Kremlin, something happened that no one could even imagine. We could not open the entrance doors, since they did not open into the room, but, on the contrary, towards the street. People were crushed against the glass, they could not even move, and the same thing happened at the service entrance. Everyone watched in horror as dozens of teenagers danced, screamed, jumped on the roofs of parked cars, and tried to crawl closer to the entrance. My wife stood at the service entrance in the first rows, her sheepskin coat left without a sleeve. One guy had his ear cut off by broken glass, there was a lot of blood.

By six in the evening the police general in charge of order in Moscow arrived. What started here, how he screamed! All Luzhniki services, the police, and the cadets were called. The general gathered everyone in the director’s office and, in an orderly tone, announced the cancellation of the concert. He said that I need to pray to God that the ramp with people in it does not collapse and crush anyone, and threatened with twenty years in prison if even one person died.

Luckily for me, Yuri Aizenshpis was present as our guest. He guessed to call someone and complain about the general exceeding his powers, said that he wanted to disrupt the concert. Sergei Lisovsky, Alexander Lyubimov, the management of the VID and RTR companies, several other generals, and some film crews arrived. Everyone started congratulating us on such a huge success, praising us, interviewing us. I was shocked.

The clock hands were approaching nine in the evening, and everyone was gathered in some assembly hall. The general continued to yell and insist that the concert be canceled immediately. There was deathly silence in the hall. Alexander Lyubimov stands up and says: “General, your time has passed, and you can’t just cancel the event because your services couldn’t cope with the job. The concert will happen whether you like it or not.” He left the assembly hall to the applause of all those present, and the general followed right behind him. A few minutes later, director Luzhnikov comes up and says that the show continues. But we had to somehow open the entrance doors, because it was already ten o’clock, and people continued to stand. The police could not do anything.

I came up with a super idea - to announce on the radio that at the gas station, which was located opposite the arena, they were starting to give out free cassettes with the Bachelor Party album, and we were ready to give out only a thousand cassettes. It worked. Ten minutes later the entrance to the hall was opened.

The poor saleswoman at the gas station - of course, no one warned her. A few days later I visited her and presented her with a huge bouquet of flowers and a hundred dollars. The concert took place, but the band and the audience were no longer the same, everyone was very tired. We never used the footage of that concert anywhere, but the promo turned out great, all of Moscow was talking about it.

Were there any reproaches from your colleagues?

No, there were no reproaches at all, they were jealous. Still would! “Bachelor Party” is the only group in the USSR that, after Estonia gained independence from the Soviet Union, was invited to a Western festival in Tallinn at the Singing Field, where Madonna and Robbie Williams worked many, many years later. Forty thousand spectators is the dream of any producer, the fee is 12,500 German marks. I remember a moment that will forever remain in my memory: when we were driving to the site, I saw dozens of people wearing T-shirts with the inscription “I want to kill a Russian.”

1996, Russian presidential elections, the entire Russian stage is campaigning for Yeltsin, even you, the “banned” group, are included in the “Vote or Lose” concerts.

At that moment I was already living in America, but I was following the news. I remember that Dolphin was finally given an American visa and he was going to come to me for a couple of weeks. They were already deciding what date to buy tickets for, and then the guys were offered to take part in the “Vote or Lose” project, concerts in all cities and villages.

Do you remember the case when Sergei Lisovsky was detained at the entrance of the White House in Moscow with a box full of dollars? There were 15% of us there. It was impossible to refuse, the pay was simply superb, and in general all our freedom was at stake, almost everyone was taken into account, so “Sex without a break” thundered everywhere.

The rest of the band's history is a foggy place. It is sparingly reported that you are leaving for the USA, after which the tone of the group drops and everyone goes off on solo projects. What actually happened? Have you been attacked or are you facing a financial crisis?

Life was scary. Wild inflation began in our country, if you remember. Prices changed almost every day, the population had no money, and it was not at all profitable to work. Invitations to concerts became rare; no one wanted to pay in advance. Banditry flourished, it was scary to go out into the street. In the cities where we toured, there was a shortage of food, hot water was turned off in hotels.

There is deception everywhere. My colleague and I were attacked. They shot me right in the face, but I was lucky - the gun misfired. In Volgograd, our backup dancers were kidnapped and almost raped; in Kazan, the entire group was taken hostage on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to Sergei Lisovsky, he saved us once again.

I was not in the mood to do what I loved at all, and I decided to leave. The group remained on its own. Many thanks to my friend Alexey Vinogradov, who replaced me and did not let them die of hunger. Unfortunately, Alexey did not find a common language with everyone in the team, with the exception of Dolphin, and the group slowly began to fade away.

What would have happened with “Bachelor Party” if you had not left Russia?

I think the group could last a year or a year and a half. Dolphin, quietly from everyone at the studio, began working on his solo project “Oak Gaai”. When I found out about this, we had a terrible fight. I really didn't like the group of people around him, and I wasn't at all impressed with the music they were writing.

For me personally, the 90s were a huge stress. It was a terrible time. Every time, before entering or leaving the entrance, I had to charge the gas pistol and send the driver on reconnaissance. I wouldn't want to go back to that time. Yes, it was cool, we made fashion for music, for lifestyle.

Being part of the history of youth culture, as you say, is wonderful, but I think there were many more negative aspects. At that time, there was complete chaos all around, the collapse of authority, and the criminal situation was off the charts. What happened to us in those years was terrible! The huge minus of the nineties was complete lawlessness, and the biggest plus was the freedom that we were all really waiting for and finally received.

Do you think it's possible for something like this to happen again in the future?

In my opinion, nothing like this will happen in Russia again, everything has already been divided. Capitalism defeated communism. There is much more democracy in Russia than in the United States; we still need to clean up some laws and corruption, and everything will be perfect.

In 1991, hip-hop culture in Russia received an increasing number of fans and, we can say that the emergence of such a group as “Malchishnik” was predetermined. At this time, the group released their debut album. Due to the complete absence of such domestic music in the country's audio market, thanks to the novelty and uniqueness of the arrangements, the first album of "Malchishnik" was a great success among a wide audience. In the same year, some radical changes took place within the team. For various reasons, two of its members leave the group and are replaced by a new person - Dolphin, who eventually becomes the face of "The Bachelor Party".

With the arrival of Dolphin, the group dramatically changes its image, placing the main emphasis in its work on shocking the public. The main theme of the group's songs is sex. The words of the lyrics of some compositions are so frank that they can cause shock to an unprepared listener. The composition “Sex without a break” is one of the group’s characteristic songs during this period of creativity. After its broadcast on the first channel of all-Union television, a scandal broke out, as a result of which the production editor of the “50/50” program was fired. From this incident, the group began to have problems not only with television, but also with radio and the press. In order to take part in the television show "Muzoboz's Playground", Den, Dolphin and Mutabor had to urgently record a soundtrack that could be approved by the television censor. It was the song "Dancing".

In 1992, the RDM company released the first CD of the group “Miss Big Breasts”, which included such hits as “Breasts, Breasts”, “The Last Time”, “Pornography”. In the summer of 1993, the participants of "Bachelor Party" decide to go their separate ways to pursue their own solo projects. In the fall of 1994, the “Bachelor Party” musicians reunited again and recorded a new album called “Kegli”. In it, the concept of the group remains basically the same, with the only difference being that the lyrics become even harsher and profanity has become widely used. These changes, despite the danceability and some pop nature of the music, strengthened the scandalous fame of the group, exacerbating the already difficult relationship with the media and plunging “Bachelor Party” into an even greater underground.

In the same year, while working on the next album, the musicians decided to close the group, as the project became too small for the implementation of their plans. Dolphin delved into a solo project, using music from the latest unpublished works of "Bachelor Party" in his launch album "Not in Focus" and Dan and Mutabor are organizing the project " Barbitura"hard alternative electronic music. In the period 1996 - 2005, as part of the "Barbitura" project, she released seven albums and several live shows, gaining popularity among electronic music fans throughout the country and abroad.

Since 2000, the history of the group - "living nostalgia" - continues, but as a studio project. "Bachelor Party" in tandem "Dan - Mutabor" - the original composition of the group, releases the album "Sandals", which, thanks to the distribution of "Classic Company", is distributed throughout the CIS. The album is discussed only on the Internet - but actively, since both past and present groups attract not only long-time fans, but also a modern youth audience.

In 2002, the album "Ogloblya" was released, on which huge changes took place in the manner of performance, the sound of arrangements and the writing of lyrics. The convincing quality of this product is immediately apparent. The album is done simply superbly. An unusual combination of vocals, lyrics and music can lead to only one conclusion: the guys are real professionals and their years of work have not been in vain.

In 2003, "Bachelor Party" performs in St. Petersburg for the first time in almost a ten-year break. The concert takes place at the Ice Palace to a full house. Having performed their best songs, Dan and Mutabor once again confirmed their unique status on the Russian stage, proving that interest in the group has not decreased at all, but on the contrary, has only grown. As a result, the album turned out much better than "BEST", released in 1999.

In 2004, an album called “Foam” was released. The album turned out to be a little softer than the previous ones, but nevertheless the number of positive reviews grew exponentially. The combination of humor and sincere lyrics, ideally set to excellent musical accompaniment, makes the album accessible to listening and understanding to a wider range of listeners.

In 2006, the group’s last album in the truest sense of the word, “Weekend,” was released, in support of which a farewell tour took place in cities such as Rostov-on-Don, Novosibirsk, St. Petersburg, Kemerovo, Samara, Smolensk, Tallinn, Riga .

The year 2007 was characterized by a renewed surge in attention to the group from the media: their faces could be seen on NTV channels (Program Maximum), A1, O2TV, MTV and MuzTV, the leaders of the Malchishnik group were invited to broadcast on Megapolis radio stations (BesPORNO with Elena Berkova) and On-Light (16Bit.fm). In 2008, the TNT television company began filming a documentary film about the group “Malchishnik”.

Today the group (possibly temporarily) has stopped creating new songs and performs exclusively upon request. Its members Dan and Mutabor found themselves in DJing. Also, Mutabor now has his own dance project - Paltus Mutantus.

In 2009, Pavel Mutabor Galkin took up the rock project ElectroShield.
