Camouflage for the 8th anniversary of World of Tanks
It will be possible to immediately obtain twenty-seven different types of camouflage for tanks for completing 2 combat missions between August 10 and August 20. There will be 2 types of emblems in total.
20 emblems, specially dedicated to the birthday of the game, can be obtained for damaging twenty enemy tanks. You need to play on vehicles from levels 4 to 10. Hurry up before the promotion ends on other WOT.

TKS gift tank for WOT birthday
The main bonus for players will be the Polish tank TKS. More precisely, it’s not even a tank, but a wedge heel. Due to light armor and the lack of heavy weapons, the developers of this combat vehicle were unable to reach the level of a tank. The TKS was supposed to appear in World of Tanks 2 years ago and become the first Polish tank in the game.
Technical characteristics of TKS can be viewed. To get a tank you need to enter the game during the promotion period on the birthday of World of Tanks. Some of the gifts will be available after you play one battle on August 12.
By the way, On one of the previous birthdays, World of Tanks gave away a Soviet T-45 tank to all players. And on the 5th anniversary of WOT, the developers distributed bonus codes that could be used to get Type-59.
Holiday Hangar

In the spring update 9.18, the rebalance extended to the self-propelled gun class: a stun mechanic was invented for the artillery, while at the same time reducing its armor penetration and damage from high-explosive fragmentation shells. We celebrated the centenary of tanks with the “Convoy” mode. Depending on the team, players in Lanchester armored vehicles had to defend or attack the Mark I tank - the same one with which the history of tank building began.

In the fall, we offered players another large-scale event - “Tank Aces”. Over the course of a month, tankers competed in their skills using Tier VI-X vehicles in random battles. Each player had a chance to win special rewards, including even the legendary Chinese Type 59 medium tank!
"New Year's Offensive"
We celebrated the New Year 2017 with the “New Year's Offensive”. Players had to climb ten levels, and for reaching each level they received a box with valuable rewards and gifts. And in the Hangar you could decorate the Christmas tree and the KV-2 snowman tank.
- "Birth of the Titans"— a clan event dedicated to the centenary of tanks.
- Tournament "Absolute Supremacy VII", which took place from October 13 to November 6, 2016. The tournament traditionally brings together the best teams of the RU region in the fight for the title of champion.
- Tournament "Absolute Supremacy VIII", which took place from March 9 to April 2, 2017 - this time in a modified 15/150 format.
- Fifth campaign on the Global Map - another annual and largest event of its kind. As always during the campaign, clans competed for prizes in the form of Tier X equipment and the title of the strongest.
- "Fortified areas", significantly changed in update 9.17.1. Now all the subtleties of the mode have become available to even more clans.
- Launch "Offensives". “Defense of the Stronghold” was replaced by “Offensives”, where clans had the opportunity to fight for industrial resources without fear of the destruction of their buildings and focus attacks from stronger clans, as was the case before.
- Season 5 on the Global Map. A regular large-scale gaming event in which clans fight for control of provinces and in-game gold.

In February we celebrate the project's birthday! I want to dedicate this entry to the anniversary of “Tanks” on consoles: to sum up the year and tell how we celebrate.
Today, World of Tanks Console includes 8 nations, 456 vehicle models, 85 maps, including those with special weather conditions that affect gameplay: blizzard, sandstorm and storm.
Over the past year, the game has received eight major updates, which pleased players with new maps, tanks, expanded gameplay capabilities, high-quality textures, and even a new game mode. The physics of car movement has become more realistic, and the handbrake allows you to perform a variety of tricks. Our tanks can even turn over!
In November 2016, we were among the first gaming projects to support the release of PlayStation 4 Pro with 4K resolution graphics! And the PS4 version now supports HDR 10 - the game looks incredible.
The beginning of 2017 was marked by the release of the eighth nation in the World of Tanks Console—the vehicles of Czechoslovakia. These are light and medium vehicles, led by a tank painted in the colors of the national flag.

This year we are celebrating the project’s birthday with the release of the Czechoslovak branch and a new map “Dukele Pass”, based on the real area on the border of Poland and Slovakia.
