Competition for Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day competitions at school: games and tasks for children

Love is a tender and painful feeling. It gives us wings and we are able to accomplish the impossible. Love for children is as necessary as air. Well, where are we without them? Well, who are we without them? Just angry adults in an angry adult world with angry adult problems. And children are like a rainbow, they paint the world with colorful paints and the soul begins to sing and the heart trembles joyfully. My friends, we can talk endlessly about love and children!

In the meantime, I offer you a couple of ideas on how you can have fun on Valentine’s Day (and not only) by playing with the kids and organizing entertaining and fun competitions.

Games and competitions for children for Valentine's Day

Game “Where is the heart hidden?”

This game is suitable for a small group of children, or for two or even one child. To play the game you need to cut out several hearts of any colors and sizes. Before the game starts, you need to hide it around the house or room. Task for children: collect all the hearts. Depending on the age of the children, you can complicate the task by completing it against time, to a cheerful melody, and the maximum number of hearts found. In any case, a couple of funny minutes and smiling eyes are guaranteed!

Game "Happy Heart"

For this competition you need large hearts (according to the number of teams or players) and many colorful small valentines (by the way, those found in the first competition will do) or colored pencils. Assignment for participants: decorate a big heart with little valentines, making it happy! You can “make” him smile, laugh, dance. Well, how your imagination runs wild!

Game "I Like It About You"

For kids, take your favorite toy, it’s perfect, and passing it on to each other, you need to give it compliments. For older children, sit in a circle and compliment your neighbor. At home, you can arrange this game, like morning exercises, every day, saying pleasant words to each other. Helps improve the climate and weather at home.

Game “A little about self-love”

This competition-game also promotes self-confidence. However, if there are very shy children in the company, it is better not to force them to perform this task. Assignment: looking at yourself in the mirror, say a few gentle and kind words to yourself. As an option, invite the child to tell about himself, supposedly from the words of his mother. Starting, for example, with the phrase: “Mom thinks that I’m the best...”, the main thing is to say only good things.

Rainy weather game

This is a relay competition for a group of children. For the competition you need two umbrellas and two pairs of shoes a couple of sizes larger than those for children (galoshes can be used).

We mark the start line (you can put a long belt, or put a couple of books) and the finish line (chairs where the umbrellas are). Along the length between the start and finish we place puddles that need to be cut out in advance. The participants’ task is to quickly run to the umbrella, take it and return to the start, without getting their feet wet or losing their shoes.

Game "Broken Heart"

This is a regular puzzle game. We cut the big heart into small pieces in advance, and the participants must assemble the whole picture. For older children, you can “hide” in your heart - a beautiful saying or. For example, like here:

Let's talk about love

Let love and understanding reign in your families!

With love,

Lyudmila Potsepun.

We invite you to watch a fascinating video on our video channel "Workshop on the Rainbow"

Competition "Mutual Arts"

  • Props: sheets of paper and pencils.
  • Participants: couples.

The pairs are given a sheet of paper. They need to draw an animal or a person. First one draws the head, the other doesn’t look. Afterwards, the sheet is folded so that the head is not visible, but only a continuation of the neck.

The second continues the drawing so that the figure acquires a body. The couple whose animal is not from the world of fantasy wins.

Competition “If I were a Sultan...”.

  • Props: bank elastic bands of different colors.
  • Participants: men.

How many “wives” will each player manage to find? The male participants are given colored rubber bands for banknotes, each of the same color.

The players’ task is to “ring” as many girls present as possible by putting an elastic band of their own color on their wrist. You cannot put more than one elastic band on each. The one with the most “wives” wins.

Competition "Celebrity Couples"

  • Participants: two teams.

A list of characters (literary and historical) must be compiled in advance. Here's a possible start:

  • Cleopatra - Antony
  • Lilya Brik - Mayakovsky
  • Isolde - Tristan
  • Lyudmila - Ruslan
  • Akhmatova - Gumilyov
  • Juliet - Romeo
  • Scarlett - Rhett
  • Desdemona - Othello
  • Josephine - Napoleon, etc.

The task is to remember a famous couple (literary, acting or other) as quickly as possible. The presenter names only one “half”, and the participants name the second. The team that guesses the most pairs wins.

Competition "Commanders"

  • Props: crumpled up bright pieces of paper and candy wrappers; brooms and dustpans; eye patches.
  • Participants: several pairs.

Several couples participate. Bright crumpled pieces of paper and candy wrappers are scattered on the floor. The young men are blindfolded and given brooms and dustpans. The girls stand a little further away. At a signal, the girls must direct the boys, shouting to them where to go and where to take revenge.

The task is to collect as many pieces of paper as possible until the signal sounds to end the competition. The couple that did it best wins.

Competition "Sweetie"

  • Props: candies in wrapper.
  • Participants: couples.

Couples are given candy. You need to, without using your hands, with your mouths, together, unwrap and eat the candy in half. The fastest pair gets points.

Competition "Love Letter"

  • Props: sheets with a set of words, some of which rhyme.
  • Participants: two teams (or more)

Teams are given sheets of paper with written words. For example:

  • 1st sheet: Love, roasts, carrots, gifts, heart, door.
  • 2nd sheet: Love, potatoes, window, carrots, stomach, reason.

Within a certain time, teams must compose a love poem using the words written on the pieces of paper.

The team whose poems the audience likes the most wins.

Competition "Love Novel"

  • Props: paper and pens or tablets for typing.
  • Participants: boys team and girls team (small)

Assignment: write a small love “novel” using one letter in 10-15 minutes. For example, when all words begin with the letter “O” or “l”. The story should have a small plot and a caption.

If the participants find it difficult, the presenter can help them with the following mini-stories:

“One day a very educated monkey went to explore the surrounding area.
"ABOUT! Adorable monkey! — The monkey was resting near the lake: “Oh, charming monkey!” They kissed each other. A charming charmer will appreciate a very frank opus. Especially witty Olga and Oleg.”

“An elderly peacock met a decent guy. They drank, danced, swam. Then they walked through the desert, asking for something to drink. Later we crossed by ferry. The right up-and-coming guy will understand the fictional piece. Pioneers of the past period."

Competition "Alluring Shadows"

  • Props: table lamp or floor lamp, chair; cardboard hearts.
  • Participants: men's and women's teams.

One of the players is seated on a chair facing the wall. The overhead light is turned off, and a lamp is installed behind the seated person. On the wall in front of the player you can see the shadow of the person standing behind him.

The player's task is to guess whose shadow it is when players begin to pass between him and the lamp. Participants must try to prevent the seated player from recognizing them - they can change their gait, make different gestures, manipulate accessories, etc. The one the player guessed replaces him on the chair, and the one who guessed takes a heart for his team.

Girls guess guys, and guys guess girls. If the sitting player does not recognize anyone from the opposing team, then he does not get the heart, and the chair is occupied by a player from the other team. The team that collects the most hearts wins.

It is better to conduct this competition in a team where everyone knows each other well. During the event, you can play soft romantic music.

Competition "Ode to Love"

  • Props: leaves with love poems, pens.
  • Participants: two small teams: men's and women's.

The presenter hands the teams pieces of paper with not very well-known love poems in which epithets, adjectives and pronouns are missing.

The task of the teams is to insert the most suitable words in their opinion within a certain time. After which the poem of each team is read out in full.

The team with the most successful version of the poem (or close to the original) wins.

Competition "Connected by One Chain"

  • Props: candies, coins, pencils and other small items; tying tapes.
  • Participants: several pairs.

The presenter scatters any small objects on the floor, preferably based on the theme of the holiday. Before the start of the game, the leader ties each pair by the legs and arms.

After the signal sounds or the music starts, the pairs begin to collect the scattered objects. Once things are collected, counting occurs. The pair that collects the most items wins.

Competition "Tear off hearts"

  • Props: paper hearts, double-sided tape; eye patches.
  • Participants: several pairs.

Several couples are invited to participate in the game. The young man is blindfolded, and the girl attaches hearts cut out of paper to herself. The number of hearts is the same for each pair. At the command of the presenter, the music is turned on, and the young man, blindfolded, must find as many hearts as possible and pick them off. The couple that manages to collect as many hearts as possible in the allotted time wins.

The game can be repeated by blindfolding the girl.

Competition “Hobbled Horses”

  • Props: rope or ribbon for binding, a chair, a heart or a rose (or other object of choice).
  • Participants: several pairs.

Participants are divided into pairs and stand shoulder to shoulder. The right leg of one partner and the left leg of the other are tied. In this position, they must “jump” to a chair that is located at a certain distance from them, take the object that lies there (any), and return back.

The couple that does it faster wins.

Competition "Dance on a newspaper"

  • Props: Big newspapers.
  • Participants: several pairs.

3-4 sheets of newspaper are spread on the floor, with a pair on each one. A slow dance begins. When the music suddenly stops, each couple must fold the newspaper in half and then continue dancing. The next pause - the newspaper is rolled up again, and so on until the dancing couple can stay on it.

Competition "Stirlitz"

  • Props: women's jewelry and accessories
  • Participants: 1 girl and men.

This competition will help determine the most observant of the stronger sex.

Valentine's Day, this romantic, beautiful holiday, is celebrated all over the world. And our country is no exception. In schools, institutes, in adult groups, everywhere this holiday is very loved and popular. And what kind of holiday would it be if there were no competitions, if there were no sounds, no fortune-telling about love or a betrothed?

We offer original competitions for Valentine's Day, intended for both young lovers and lonely hearts who dream of finding their soul mate, and for everyone who wants to have a high mood.

Contests for Valentine's Day You need to organize in advance, so good luck!

Competition 1 – Find yourself a partner
For the competition you need a lot of paper hearts, plus some that differ from the others in terms of the number of participants. Each of the participants is given one of the unique hearts, not similar to the others, while the second one is mixed with the others on the table. Team members must try to find their matching heart from the common pile of hearts. The first one to find it wins!
Competition 2 – Heart into pieces
For the competition you will need several valentines in the shape of large hearts. Each of these valentines should be cut into approximately 15-20 pieces. On command, all participants must begin to put together all the pieces of the valentine so that they again form a heart. The fastest one will win.
Competition 3 – I love you
This is a competition-game in which pairs participate. Each of them takes turns declaring their love to each other, but they cannot speak, only gestures, facial expressions and movements must be used.

The couple that manages to make it funnier will win.

Competition 4 – Declaration of love
All participants in the competition need to come up with a declaration of love using a few affectionate words. The essence of the competition is to ensure that these words are not repeated. For example, if the first sentence already contains the word “beloved,” then the subsequent ones should not contain it. The winner will be the one who comes up with the most beautiful declaration of love with the greatest number of affectionate and tender words.
Competition 5 – Straw
This is one of my favorite competitions. All participants sit in a circle. The first of them squeezes a straw or pasta with his lips, and then passes it to his neighbor. The latter also takes it with his lips, and the participants at the table must alternate: man - woman, etc. Over time, the straw shrinks and softens, making it increasingly difficult for participants to pass or take.
Competition 6 – Melody about love
The presenter plays the music of famous romantic songs, but only music, without words, and the participants must try to guess the name of the song and who sings it, and also dance beautifully to this romantic melody.

Competition 7 – Light is my mirror - tell me
Only girls participate in the competition, each of whom is given a mirror. All of them, in turn, looking in the mirror, should say beautiful compliments about themselves. You can't laugh and think for a long time. Whoever says the most compliments about himself without delay will win.

An interesting entertainment program will make a student Valentine's Day party a bright and unforgettable event of the year. Competitions on February 14, various quizzes and dynamic games will be remembered by students for a long time. Paired tests will bring fellow students closer together and give the guys confidence. Romantic competitions will not let students get bored and stand on the sidelines.

Up to 4 couples participate in the competition. Guys wear large warm mittens, and girls wear a warm robe or a large button-up shirt (without buttoning them). The guys' task is to save their beloved from the cold and fasten all the buttons on her clothes with mittens.

The pair that completes the task faster than the rest wins. She receives the title of "Most Caring".

    Game "Hat of Love"

The game involves 6 guys and 6 girls, more is possible. They are divided equally into 2 teams and stand in 2 ranks in the sequence “boy, girl”. Each group is given a hat.

The task of each team is to pass the headdress in turn from the first player to the last. In this case, the hat should not be touched with your hands. It must be on your head throughout the game. If someone touches it with their hands or it falls to the floor, the hat returns to the first player.

The team that completes the task faster wins.

Several couples participate in the competition. The main thing is that the boys are not bald.

Girls are given a set of small rubber bands. The guys sit on chairs. The girls' task is to create as many small ponytails as possible on their partner's head using rubber bands within a certain time.

The couple with the most “tufts” on the guy’s head wins.

4 couples participate in the competition. It is better if the participants meet or know each other well. The girls are seated on chairs in a row and shown to the guys. After this, the boys are taken to another room and blindfolded. At this moment, the young ladies change places; you can replace the girl with a guy. Then they take the boys into the room.

The guys' task is to recognize their partner by their bare leg. To completely confuse the participants, you can put a woman's stocking on the fake boy. The couple in which the guy finds the leg he loves wins.

3-4 couples participate in the competition. The presenter invites the participants to sew each other to themselves. To do this, he gives them each a spoon to which a thread is tied. The length of the thread must be more than 1.5 meters. Using a spoon, they sew each other, passing the thread through the clothes. For example, first through the guy’s sleeves, then through the girl’s sleeves. As a result, the pairs must be “sewn”.

After this, the guys are given a piece of paper with a heart drawn on it, and the girls are given scissors. While tied, the partners must cut out this heart. Moreover, the girl must cut, and the guy needs to hold a sheet of paper and set the direction in which to cut.

The pair that completes the task faster than the rest wins.

A minimum of 4 couples participate in the competition. Each participant is given forks with a thread attached to them. They tie them to the belt or wrap them around the waist so that the fork hangs at the back at knee level (not lower), like a “tail.”

After this, the couples turn their backs to each other and begin to move their waists and body parts, trying to catch their partner’s fork with their fork. Do not guide the fork by hand. You can push each other with your pelvis. Tailed participants must be careful while playing so as not to get hurt.

Valentine's Day is celebrated not only by romantic and married couples. Almost every school holds homeroom hours on February 14 (or the day before) in honor of Valentine's Day. Traditionally, the program of this festive event for schoolchildren consists of fun competitions, games and quizzes. We offer you several themed entertainment, selected according to the age and interests of children.

Fun competitions for Valentine's Day at school: interesting games for students in grades 1-4

Little fidgets are distinguished by well-developed imagination and activity. Children will enjoy playing outdoor games and interacting with each other.

The interesting game “Search for Hearts” can captivate schoolchildren. On the eve of Valentine's Day, you need to hide colorful paper hearts in the classroom. The students are tasked with finding as many hearts as possible within a certain time. The winner can be given a sweet prize.

Valentine's Day competitions at school and at home can help kids learn to be polite. This is especially true for games where you need to give compliments. As an option, we suggest playing “Nice Words” for children at school. First you need to prepare a “daisy” with petals, on each of which you need to write any letters. On the holiday, students will go to the school board in pairs, tear off a petal, and then come up with pleasant words for each other, starting with the letter they dropped.

When the kids have rested a little, you can offer them a fun “Burst the Valentine” contest. Place candies inside the heart balls. Inflate the “hearts”, scatter them on the floor and invite the children to “get a sweet prize”. Whoever bursts the most “Valentines” is the winner.

Competitions for Valentine's Day at school: interesting tasks for students in grades 5-8

Shave Valentine is a fun game for schoolchildren. To perform it, a thick layer of shaving foam is applied to each heart-shaped balloon. Then the participants are given plastic knives, with the help of which the children must quickly “shave” their “Valentine”.

At the age of 10-13 years old, schoolchildren love to play Crocodile. So why not offer them a romantic twist on this famous Valentine's Day activity? Surely they will want to show their creative abilities and acting talent. The host of the event needs to put pieces of paper into a hat, after writing on them the names of lovers from films and books. Having drawn out their task, the children need to depict a romantic couple using gestures.

Interesting competitions for Valentine's Day at school or lyceum for high school students

“Searching for a Soulmate” is an exciting and romantic game for students in grades 9-11. The guys stand in a circle, the leader gives them multi-colored halves of hearts, on which the names of loving characters from films and books are written. The whole point is that these characters should be a couple in love. For example, Margarita and the Master, Juliet and Romeo. Boys and girls need to find the one who got his half of the heart as soon as possible. Whoever did it faster wins.
